I cannot emphasize enough, ever, the extent to which the team at Foothills went to ensure the safe pickup and transport of my heart horse from Langley, BC all the way to the suburbs of Chicago, IL, USA. **during covid**They took an otherwise incredibly stressful process and turned it into a seamless event. My baby arrived safe and sound despite being in transit from Sunday at 6am in BC to Wed at 12:09am local time in IL. They were communicating with me and the seller every step of the way, with lots of pictures! She even had a layover in Calgary BC.They were the most professional and affordable of ALL the companies I vetted, and I will sing their praises to the rooftops! If you're looking for a top-notch hauling service for your unicorn, you've found it.

Foothills transport moved my new, injured, mare from Alberta to Ottawa Ontario. I can’t speak highly enough about the team. I was sent updates and a photo of her progress during the travel. When they arrived they assisted me with bringing her into her stall, as I had just had surgery on my chest. She came off the trailer happy and didn’t even bat an eye at her new location. Everyone involved made the travel and transaction so easy for me. This was my first time using a long haul shipper. Would I use them again, definitely! Will I recommend them to others, definitely! Of all the things that I've done with horses, shipping my best friend back and forth across the continent has got to be on the most stressful events that I've experienced. The gratitude that I have for Foothills Transport and their team is incredibly profound - Sam and Noah went above and beyond to get my horse there and back in extremely good shape and in extremely good time, and made it as easy as it could possibly be. I am so unbelievably appreciative of this company, and would never hesitate to send my horse with them again (although I think we'll avoid gallivanting across the continent, at least for a little while)

I'm surprised they only have 5 reviews. This company is top notch. Reasonably priced. Communication with every step. Got my gelding from Langley to Florida. Picture updates. This company knows horses and horse people. Very professional. I can go on and on. They got my boy home safely and kept me updated. Thank you.

Would give 10 stars if I could.! My young inexperienced 2 yr old was recently shipped up from Texas to Calgary. Noah @ Foothills was stellar with respect to keeping me updated with calls and emails. Will definitely use them again, and highly recommend them to anybody considering an equine transport company. He arrived happy and in perfect condition from his long journey. Couldn't have asked for any more..!

Foothills Horse Transport took over shipping for a horse rescue, and proceeded to gather all of the information needed for export. What they did not do however was honor the price the prior shipping company quoted. Foothill not only failed to clarify or even mention their rates, but had no paperwork to pay for their service once the horse was delivered. Foothill sent an invoice with no method of paying them online, and blamed the original shipping company for the confusion. The ONLY reason I gave two stars was that the rescue horse survived the trip. Will not be using again.
