Dream Banquet Hall

I attended a party few days ago. This looks like clean place. Staff was serving in there was well mannered and taking care of all the guests. DJ system or music sounds live Camara screen looks great. Overall I would recommend.

We had our engagement party at the venue. The staff was great and the venue was beautiful. All guests really enjoyed the food.

I had my 21st Birthday party here and it was amazing the food was great, the bartender was excellent and the hospitality my family and I received from the owner as well as the other staff was beyond compare. I hope my family has more parties because this is honestly a wonderful venue. It's pretty new so the inside was able to match the theme I had in mind which was great!

We had our wedding reception here with a little over 200 people. Overall we had a fun time, but we had to deal with quite a bit during the night with poor service. A large event like this will have a few undesired events; just too many moving parts for this not to happen. However, in this case there were too many issues that seemed never ending throughout the night and some completely unacceptable for services paid for in full prior (which was required). Just to mention a few things:First, the cake. It’s like they’ve never had a cake at an event. They didn’t have a knife ready to cut the cake which led to a long awkward pause in the middle of events. Then the most egregious event was the $800 wedding cake wasn’t even served during the event. We had to help ourselves after midnight when most guests had left and we noticed the issue. They had plenty of time to pickup on this mistake as they all walked by the cake throughout the night by the kitchen entrance and when they took away the food early (before midnight).This brings me to the next big issue, mismanagement of food. The night started out with appetizers being nearly 1 hour late, which led to our guests helping themselves to the dessert table too early. Side note: the dessert table should be sectioned off or covered for this reason! We paid nearly $20/head for these appetizers. When they did arrive they weren’t served in a timely manner and evenly. Some guests did not get the full selection of apps, while other tables had plates seemingly dumped on them in an attempt to get the late starters out. Essentially we did not get what we paid for and our guests were left sitting without food from the start. Then came dinner which was taken away early. Few people did not get to eat! We’ve thrown multiple events over the last 20 years in Toronto and the states. This was just bizarre! Food remains until the party is nearing the planned end. We literally had another party at another venue the week before…complete opposite experience. The other venue had guests practically shadowed by staff throughout the night with trays of food/drink. They even gave food to us at the end as they know people throwing the party rarely get to sit down and eat.Then issues with the bar. First there were no actual bartenders. There were people manning the bar, but they had no clue what they were doing. Bar did not open on time to begin with and they were understaffed/slow. The lineup for drinks was massive at times early on; some people gave up on getting drink at times. They had to be educated on cocktails beforehand in detail; we shouldn’t have to educate bartenders multiple times on how to make a cocktail (only 2 on our list!). They didn’t setup the bar display; many fine bottles were essentially untouched as no one knew we had them. On multiple occasions they served beer in place of champagne. This beer was a rare bottle and very expensive; they somehow mistook a liquid that looks like thick orange juice with champagne on at least 4 occasions. They don’t know how shots work, they were putting some odd sweet substance in the tequila shots and leaving whole lime wedges right in the alcohol in the shot glasses. On a few occasions they were mixing tequila with vodka in the shots. On another they were bewildered when someone asked for vodka/soda. They failed to inform us when running low on certain bottles so we can restock them in timely manner. This level of bar service does not belong in a wedding reception.In general, service was substandard for the venue. We had a decoration malfunction, resulting in a sofa being left on the dance floor. This was left on the floor for 5 minutes. Our guests got fed up looking at this and had to move it themselves! The dance floor was not cleaned throughout the night which is safety issue. Bridge/groom were left unattended before the event despite numerous requests. They didn’t eat a meal all night as a result. The list goes on.Would not book this venue for a large wedding reception, a small general event or daytime event is all they are prepared for.

We had a gender reveal party at this place. The staff, food and management were really good. Spacious and the dance floor is good with lighting. The manager - Jitenbhai did a really good job. I will rate this place, staff & food 5 stars. Highly recommended.Big Thanks to Dream Banquet Hall management and team.

We hosted our baby’s gender reveal at Dream banquet hall. It was a surreal experience. Beautiful and spacious hall with modern interiors. Best part of the hall is a separate space for dance floor.Very cooperative manager (Jiten) and staff who gives extra efforts to go above and beyond their limits to make your event successful.Guest were very much delighted with the tasty food and good DJ.Highly recommended.

They hosted our engagement party last year and it was amazing. Our guests are still raving about the amazing food. It is truly a beautiful place with understanding and accommodating people!

I have attended few events at Dream Banquet Hall with my friends and families and it has always been a wonderful experience! Their biggest highlight is the amazing food which is extremely tasty and flavourful. The ambiance is very beautiful and services team is quite professional too. So if you are planning to organize any special event, this Banquet Hal would be the right destination for you!!Thanks

Reception at Dream Banquet Hall in June of 2023.-inexperience service staff-Bartenders were students and had no experience at the bar accept to serve pop. They served beer in wine glasses.- food was late to begin with- Bride & Groom were promised to be served in the waiting room but were served 40 minutes late, after numerous requests by brother and it was time for their entry so they did not get to eat all night.-The cake was left in the corner and not served to guests. Special flavoured layers was picked by the bride&groom for their family & friends at the reception. The cake went to waste.-I will give one star for the food but what good is food without the service.Kiran
