I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. The floors were filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There was visible dirt and grime in the corners and along the baseboards. The bathroom was also dirty

Not the best not the worst. The room seemed relatively clean upon arrival but there was quite a bit of hair on the towels that I noticed in the morning which wasn't the most appealing. The beds were comfy and the room was large though, more than enough space for our pack and play to fit. Price was the best we've had on our trip across the country so far, and the owner seemed like a nice guy. Like I said, you could do worse...but they could probably do a bit better!

LOVELY owners, very hospitable. Motel is a sweet, no-frills accommodation, but has everything you need. WiFi, a fridge, comfortable beds, and a nice secure, camera monitored courtyard. It is an established business and you can tell. I found this motel driving by after being turned away from an overbooked hotel in town and I'm so grateful I found it and caught the vacancy sign.

Its an older building run by a very nice man, at first I was omg no ac but the cool breeze off the lake I was cool. Now its affordable and a basic room in a convenient location for the price when everything else was full I was welcomed and treated right if you can look past a few things you can have a clean room for a good price

Friendly owner/staff.Dirty blanket that needed replacement. Wifi password did not work at first, had to push-reset the router to default config and use the label-sticker password. Fabric chair has stained marks.The room would've been very quiet by itself but due to noisy family guest upstairs with kids, the noise level was high.If you can, reserve upstairs room and check the bed sheet/blanket/pillow right away for replacement.

You couldn't find a more helpful owner if you tried. We were exhausted and called very late. He (literally) came from his home to help us out.I wish I could be complimentary about the room. It was in the basement. No heat was on and it was cold and damp (we stayed in January). The units are like little apartments with burners, pots, fridge and microwave. But the burners didn't work and there were no dishes or cutlery I could see. The toilet didn't flush properly. They're in the middle of renovations, though, so things will likely improve. And I have a feeling the upper rooms are more comfortable.It's a mixed review but, given the helpfulness of the owner, I'd give the place another try. Just not in the basement.

It was a great motel! Perfect if you are headed on a long road trip. We were able to refreeze our icepacks in the fridge. The owner was extremely nice as well.BONUS: it is pet friendly!
