Have had two bad experiences with geek squad. Never waste your money with their protection plans.

Good service, but deal with them via Live Chat rather than by phone.

Bought a tv in mid December, brought it home, set it up and there was a green line down the side of the screen. Contacted Best Buy to have it replaced to which they stated that Geek Squad would contact me within a few days to set up a delivery time" it's now almost the end of January and I am still waiting on that call. After about 2 weeks my wife and I have been calling them every few days and nobody ever answers the phone! If I dont get a delivery date and my new tv soon I am thinking about cutting my "Geek Squad Membership" and returning the tv all together to make a purchase through someone that deserves it. Best Buy and Geek Squad display to me that they do not care about their customers! Membership in my opinion is a waste of money....buyer beware!!"
