Knights Inn Merritt

April 22, 2023, Stay, We chose this motel because they say its pet friendly, well it's not. There are signs posted asking dogs not to use the green space courtyard area, there is no safe place around the motel for dogs to do its business, we used the green space anyways. The bed was terrible, wore out, and the fridge looked like it had fallen off the back of a pickup truck, all beat up. Coffee make was dirty. Signs all over the room with dos and don’ts. Overall feel of the room is old and tired. It felt like the owners don’t take pride in this property and didn’t care to be in the motel business.The reservation was made in my wife's name, which I will not be sharing here. We had a room in the east wing backing onto Menzies St.

I felt super safe staying here as a solo female traveller the two times I did an overnight in Merritt and I’ll definitely come back.The first room I stayed in had the most luxurious deep bath tub. It was January but I had to make an emergency trip to the Okanagan from Vancouver after work - so after making it through rush hour traffic in the city and the Coquihalla in the winter, it might be the best most relaxing bath I’ve had in my life.The manager is really friendly and check in is so simple. It’s really appreciated that things are so easy after driving some nasty mountain highways in the winter!Location was great and beds were comfy.

Our stay was just OK. Customer service was friendly, although I never received an email confirmation for our stay which I thought was strange. I called just to make sure we were actually booked in. I chose this place because the pictures showed nice white bedding and we just needed a clean place to sleep for the night. When we arrived the comforters were old and brown with stains and cigarette burn holes. There were only 2 bath towels for a suite that sleeps 4. There were a couple items left in the cupboards from the previous guests. There was no weather stripping along the bottom of the door. It was so drafty we had to roll up clothes by the door so we could stay warm. Also a mat by the door would go a long ways to keep the floors dry. I would have also expected better sound proofing between suites. The guests next door were not exceptionally loud, but we could hear them talking until 4am. I wish I could leave a better review as the lady at the front desk seemed really sweet, but we won’t be back.

After 12 hours on the road I got here to a super friendly motel. Upgraded my room free! Nice room everything is perfect. Really great experience here.

This place is a gem! BBQ in the center park...Has room for Semi/Tractor parking! Owners are so nice!! Comfy beds...had the best sleep in years! Tub was Amazing!! (Room 110)

I've stayed here twice now and will be back again. Suzie went out of her way both times to get me checked in. Rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Excellent service! The rooms are nicely renovated and are super clean! The staff are super nice and always make me feel welcome. The Knights Inn is one of the best hotels in Merritt, BC. You can always look forward to staying in a well kept, clean room that makes you feel like your just at home! I'd rate 10/10 and would suggest staying at The Knights Inn!

As nov 15 2021 flood victims...we came to Knights inn in Jan 2022..Wayne and Susie and the staff have been amazing! We have now found housing for January...we will miss them all❤

This is hotel 29 in our motorcycle ride around the country. Out of the 29 places we have been this place is tied with number 1. Rooms are big and clean. Plenty of safe parking. Is in a good safe area. OH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OUTSTANDING. They go up and above. The owner is AWESOME. Her and staff bend over backwards to make sure you have a great stay. Susie and I think Wayne are the best hosts we have come across on this trip.
