AAA Waterproofing & Underpinning

I leave this negative review for the owner of this company and people who would like to save their time and money who earned by their hard work.We trusted this guy and gave him a concrete project as he gave us a decent quote based on our permit drawings. Once he poured the footingshe started playing games that he needs more money to be able to order concrete and he will stop working if he doesn't receive the money.note based on our concrete he supposed to get paid according to the progress of project as he got a good amount of downpayment. as we were really under pressure to finish our project we took a chance and paid him. Surprisingly once he received the money he came up with some ridiculous excuses and left us hanging. I am sure most of his positive reviews are coming from his circles as I heard he has done similar things to others. I hope this review wakes him up and doesn't play with peoples investment and life and doesn't leave them in sorrow and regret when they trust him. Hopefully!!

I wish I can say it was a good experience for us we called Ziggy regarding our water problem a year ago, it was in the early spring they came dug, they could not lay the cement due to the weather conditions, few month later the lay cement, when we had the big thaw we had water still in the basement, we called him he said he would come by to see it and it took forever for him to come always with some kind of excuse, when my husband called he was starting to get rude with him, we had explained that we needed to get this fixed for we were finishing the basement at the time. we came but put a cement edge around the window charged an additional 1,000.00 we he came I did point out that the cement he layed out was cracked you came see the stones on the surface it looks like a a child did the the work his response was that the way it is. well to our surprise someone from his company came he said he was sent by someone by the name of Rudy to checkout the cement job I dont know his name but he was very nice he wanted to make sure we were happy and he said he would return at about 5:00 that day to fix every thing he has not returned this for has been a nightmare that has lasted over a year. my husband payed him cash, over ten thousand and the cement job just ruined the look of your patio.this company shouldhave more pride in there work . when we have company over and they see this they can't believe the messy job they did. my husband is a very patient person and he always gives people a chance but Ziggy took advantage of the situation. now we have to live with this awful cement job or call someone else to fix it. I don't recommend them at all. I gave one star because it does not allow me to give a big ZERO

After taking possession of my new home, I was dismayed to discover water coming into my basement after every rainfall. I spoke with Ziggy and he came out immediately, quoted me a price and arranged to have the work done right away. The repairs were done quickly, neatly and exactly as he quoted. Now there is no more water in basement - even during heavy downpours! Thank you AAA waterproofing!

We contracted with AAA Waterproofing and Underpinning in July of 2017 to do the waterproofing at our home.We were first visited by Zibby who explained our problem and outlined several solutions. The crew that arrived to perform the work were hard-working and courteous. All the work was completed in a professional manner - and we were updated daily on their progress. At the conclusion of work, everything was left in a clean, presentable way.It has been about 7 months now and we have been 100% dry in our basement. We could not have been happier with the service performed and we would certainly recommend this company to any friends, family or neighbours who require work of this type.

The most positive experience I have ever had with a waterproofing/underpinning company. They finished the job one week ahead of schedule and still replied to all of my questions after the job was complete and after they were already paid in full. I would definitely recommend.

We would recommend this company to anyone! We had water in the completely finished basement of our Oakville home. AAA came right away assessed the problem, repaired the foundation from the outside (the way it should be!) and installed a sump pump to drain excess water from the foundation and did it all promptly as promised complete with a 25 year warranty on the work! We cannot say enough about Ziggy, his honesty and integrity ... he returned every phone call and text right away!

We highly recommend the services of AAA Waterproofing. Ziggy is a man of his word - what he says, he does - and we respect that very much. He explained the stages of the job to be done clearly and gave reasons for same. He was always available to answer our calls and was prompt to attend during the performance of the job as well as on follow up. His crew worked hard, arrived on time, did a professional, high quality job and completed it on time, as promised; they dug down to the footings all around the house, the porch and even inside the garage, applied the waterproofing material and replaced the old water ducts; they left the property in a clean condition. All in all, this company takes very seriously both the customer and their work and we are very satisfied with both the work and the customer service we received from Ziggy and his crew.

We had a project with this company for underpinning and waterproofing of our basement at west end toronto. It was an horribleExperience that we regret. The job delayed overthan a month and the owner just asking money to complete the job. I am sure most of the company's positive reviews are from his friends and not true!. He does not know how to read thePermit drawings and follow. The weeping tile and sump pump were not installed properly. What a waste of time and money!My family were really frustrated, stressed out and upset for all those delays.

I have never left a negative review for a contractor or a tradesperson before but we had such an unfortunate experience with Ziggy, I feel compelled to do so.We hired Ziggy to waterproof our basement (exterior) and to replace the concrete that had to be ripped out for the waterproofing and extend it to create a patio area in our backyard. The waterproofing was done well and quickly and we paid in full.After that, we gave Ziggy a $1,500 deposit for the concrete work and were told it would start that week. After two weeks of promises that it would happen tomorrow"

Working with AAA has been great. They completed an underpinning project for me and I am very glad I chose to do business with them. Work was completed in good time and they were very open and upfront about any questions or concerns I had.
