such a lovely little campground! a bit of a trek to the mountain side sites but beautiful none the less. super close to town, markets, cidery and stunning beaches and hiking trails. the owls hooting and flying over us at night were a highlight of the trip.

I always love camping here when I go to Salt Spring. The campsites are well kept and spacious with a good amount of privacy. The campsites are walk-in but are a short walk from the parking lot. The washrooms are well kept and they have an amazing outdoor shower which is a great experience every time! It is a coin operated shower but worth the money in my opinion ($0.50 per minute). The staff are friendly but rarely around which doesn’t bother me. You pay in cash and leave it in the box. Everything else you might need to easily accessible but there is one campsite keeper that is there most of the time if you need something. All-in-all it is a great campsite that is a close 15 minute walk to town. I would recommend!

Beautiful setting adjacent to Moat Park. I enjoy walking to Ganges through the park which is a leisurely 30 minutes walk at most.Campsites are always clean upon arrival. Guests do a good job in taking their recycling and waste to the appropriate bins. Washrooms are outhouses which are cleaned daily and there is an outdoor coin operated shower which is one of the coolest showers I've ever been to.Firewood is available for purchase from the host.I would give the Campground a five star if the odour from the washrooms could be more controlled.Definitely a cool place stay.

I currently work in hospitality so I understand how much bad reviews can reflect on a business - it pains me to write this but I have no option...If you camp regularly, or have any experience camping in BC, this place will disappoint you.We had no privacy as our campsite was essentially an extension of the main walking path. We woke up with a creepy man leering into our tents. We checked out immediately and we were still charged for three nights (instead of one). The place was gross and continually felt unsafe. Never stay here.

Such a delightful campground ! It’s clean and peaceful. 15 min walk to town ! The owner was very sweet. Tree shower if you need ! Campsites are very specious and they actually have chairs/table/Capony tente for you to be dry even if it’s raining !

Camping spots are rather exposed and dusty, the management double booked our spot and despite knowing the neighbouring business was hosting a wedding till 2am failed to inform us. It is walking distance to Ganges which is useful for tourists

Such a magical affair staying here, we had to extend our stay and I'm sure you too will want to. From the warm friendly and resourceful staff creating a sense of community to the outdoor hot showers, layers of multiple camping options from RV with electricity to tenting under a cooling rainforest canopy this place emits peace, and a deep connection and stewardship to this land. Multiple water trees for your convenience, A lush tropical bathroom with ferns and a tree growing thru it, multiple watering sources at trees and the cutest eclectic garden store. The city brilliantly created heaps of pathways thru forests all around the campground to encourage ease of travel without vehicles. So there are multiple paths to town from your campsite thru a stunning rainforest all 10-15 minute hikes thru precious protected old growth. I'm pretty sure most of the forest including camp sites are at least 5 degrees cooler than the swelting village summer heat. This is such an affordable way to explore the treasures of the Ganges.Enchantment awaits you, call ahead to book your stay today.

Had a wonderful time at this Campground that's not too far from town, wonderful vibes, plenty of trees and privacy. Nicest pit toilets I've ever seen, clean and nearly spa like. Wonderful outdoor shower that's private and can accommodate more than one person for you and your partner. Mix of walk in ans drive in sites. Would definitely repeat. Friendly easy going laid back host. Also dogs are allowed off leash if they are well behaved.

Our site was great, some of the other sites were not private. Few noises in the morning that woke us up. Otherwise cute campground in the forest. Would go back.

I hesitate to post this because I don't want to ever show up and not get a site for the night! But this place is heavenly. Great spots, very quiet at night (which is a much appreciated park rule), great vibes.
