I have used The Chess House to purchase chess related items a couple times now. Every time I contact them they are number one in Customer Service. The people there are very knowledgeable and are able to answer any question I have had. They treat you right and are very professional and courteous. My experience with The Chess House was pleasant and successful. I would recommend The Chess House to anyone seeking anything related to chess. They are great!

Everything about the process was great.The company sponsors my local chess club (I’m in a nearby city), gave great suggestions over the phone, and let me drive there to pick up my set so I had it within a couple hours of ordering.The pieces feel great and everything is made of quality materials. I will buy from here again when I upgrade to my next chess set

Very rarely does a business merit a five star review, but if one could give six stars, ChessHouse would deserve every one! They stand out from other competitors with world class customer service, and go above and beyond to accommodate your requests (I’ve had them go into their warehouse to measure particular pieces or boxes, and they’ve done it with pleasure multiple times!)In addition, the receptiveness they have to customer suggestions is incredible. I recommended a new chess piece box size, and they have released it for sale within 6 months, but even better than I could have imagined! I had a really good experience with this company. My husband has ordered from them before and had good experiences so when I decided to get some coloured chess pieces, I went to them. Their selection is really impressive and their customer service is great. I wrote to them regarding the shipping fees and they responded very quickly and in a caring, personal manner, despite this being a very busy time for them since the Queen’s Gambit exploded in the chess world. I ordered some pink pieces and some red pieces and love both. I ordered some lighter red ones, and some weighted red ones, and both are great. I use the red ones all the time now, and the pink ones I will be taking camping with us in the summer. My husband and I have had issues with other companies losing things or getting our order wrong, but not them. They are professionals lead by caring people.

I chose to purchase some Chess products from Chess House, in part because of the excellent customer service they are said to have. I have to say that they do live up to their reputation. My order was missing an item, but after sending them an email explaining that I was missing an item and that I didn’t really need them to replace the missing item since it was only worth $6.00. But they chose to ship me the missing item anyways, even though they are extremely busy at the moment due to the Chess boom. Chess House is excellent and will be my store of choice for any future Chess related purchases.

I inquired them about the flex pad board, and they responded quickly and professionally. I phoned them to make an appointment to visit (it's just an office and an warehouse) just an hour before my visit, and they agreed to let me in. I live right across the border in Canada, so it was a quick visit. They treated us professionally and their products were of high quality. I cannot express their level of professional service and would definitely be coming back. Thanks Paul!

Ordered a glass chess set on Dec 1 as a gift. Took about a week to get it (carrier delays). Upon inspecting everything - since it is glass - I found 2 pieces that were broken and 1 that was completely misshapen. Tried calling - no answer. Took photos, emailed them - no answer. Emailed again a week later - no answer. Called again and left a voicemail - no call back. Tried posting a review on their website - it was blocked. If I could get replacement parts, this would have been a great review. But having no only bad, but zero customer service is how companies go out of business. I’ll be filing a complaint with my credit card company soon, if I can’t get through to someone.

Chess house is simply a Awesome company. The folks here care about the people who love Chess. Paul in customer service has gone above and beyond to help me with my purchases. The products they carry are unique and you'll not find many they offer nowhere else in the world. They put together bundles of Chess boards pieces and bags that simply are beautiful.
