Park Lake Provincial Park
Clean water, not too cold for swimming. Pretty shallow and wide area, great for water fights. Sandy beach, a bit rocky but workable. The place is a bird refuge and sounds like a rain forest 24x7 which is cool. It's far enough from Calgary that you can get spots and it's not cut throat. There is a confession stand, fish cleaning station, fishing dock, rinse showers and change rooms. There are several playgrounds. Pit toilets throughout is the only significant downside. They could add a single complex with flush toilets, lights, sinks and mirrors and this place would be epic.

Seriously perfect place for kids, families, day trips. Events. The beech isvery clean. The water is knee high for a good 10 Meters for toddlers. There is a deep end. Boat launch. Ice cream shop with food as well like burgers. Staff are friendly as well there. Camping is offered at a reasonable rate with hook ups and RV parking as well. Waterfront camping offered. Loved going there. Clean is the big thing. There is a corn maze down the road to. It's like 20 mins from the city up stream so music to the ears right

This provincial park deserves upgrades. More camping, a better boat launch and utilization of the entire lake is needed. It's such a great spot with a ton of potential. Lots of bird watching and a great place to chill with the fam.

Good place to have a clear view of sunset and sunrise. Great surroundings apt for RV and swimming activities. Also having a shop that can serve ice creams and other eatables. Must visit for picnics and other getogethers.

Would have given it 5 if only showers were available. After a day at a beach would have been nice to wash off. No shower available at any time. Was at Site A10-North side and good shady areas. North side has more trees therefor shade. Close to outhouse, water and also there was power at this site. It is indeed close to the highway which can be busy at times but it didn’t bother us. Concession was a hit with the kids. Reasonably price. Ice cream was better than most concession at other campground. Order firewood at concession and they can drop it off at your site. Concession is open 11am to 7pm on sunny days and 4pm to 7pm on rainy days which is located by the beach. Little trails was nice and clean. Nice sunrise and sunsets. We went fishing at the other side of the lake but unfortunately we did not catch any but was informed that pike and walleye can be caught. Crystal Spring cheese is about 5mins drive. Lethbridge about 15 mins. Legendary Wing King is a must to try in Lethbridge.

We have been coming to this campground for years . Beautiful little campground , sites are really easy to get in and out the beach is great , great little concession stand to get an ice cream or snack , beautiful walking path , quiet setting. But the bathroom’s are going down hill , they are disgusting not clean and smell so bad , the dogs have it better going outside. This campground really needs a shower house and flush toilets.

One of the better Prov Parks by Lethbridge. Good amount of camping sites and some on the lake shore. Decent amenities for family (beach and playground) and some ok fishing. (Pike, walleye and perch) Great for canoeing or kayaking.Negatives are that's it's not a great boating lake (too many weeds) and some of the shelters could be cleaned better. (Spider webs coating them at times). Bring the bug spray and Benadryl (cotton trees). The campsites are a little close together.
