RBC Royal Bank

I had the displeasure if interacting with a feeble minded teller. She withdrew money for me but said she wouldn't help me with providing me my statement balance.I don't even want to understand the logic that leads one to be so distrustful of a client yet withdraw money for them; however not provide the balance of the account (even though I entered my pin, and provided driver's licence). She literally said she would only help me a little and not with everything I needed. After I asked to speak with a manager, she got her act together.These people really need to look within themselves to check their implicit bias. Service is quite trash, especially after she forced me to explain the personal details of the emergency which brought me to the bank.I encourage ppl to avoid banking with RBC. This is not the first, 2nd or 3rd, time I have received poor service after 15+ years of banking with them. They love finding reasons not to help me

An experience from my father (senior):Mutual Funds Rep Ahmed Abdalla was very helpful and patient with me. He provided great insights and explained the processes with respect to savings and tax free accounts. He is an absolute professional and very approachable. Would highly recommend him and the branch as I've had great experiences here.

Again a disappointing experience with the branch's employees overall. Judgemental, lack of empathy, rude overall.We made a mistake of opening our bank account here.We booked virtual appointment and is getting call from VAIRAVAN VIVA MURUGAPPAN stating that he cannot accommodate us for the appointment on the same day we need help.If so do not book an appointment in first place.If there was availability for virtual appointment hence it was booked in such time but the employee did not want to go above and beyond.

Good location but it’s smaller. It can get busy. The self serve machines are slow and it can be cleaner.

I have booked a few phone appointments and have never gotten the phonecall. I booked most recently with Parul Bheda - same thing. I even emailed Parul after to ask, what happened? Can we reschedule? And of course no response to my email. I’ve booked with another branch at this point.

Rbc bank is literally a joke, for some reason they seem to think they are special compared to other banks. But in reality just make it a nightmare to bank with them. Bank anywhere else if you want to avoid cross bank issues.

Shoutout to Mr. Bosco Idicula from RBC Cooksville Branch. Our financial advisor who assisted us open an account with my wife. He was very professional and very friendly who treated us like a VIP from start to finish. We're so glad that we've met and want to say thank you and we appreciate your effort! Terrible service, managment only truly helps people that they know , set an account up over the phone for 2 hours was told i qualify for a promo and went in waited another hour just to be told i dont qualify? Why waste my time

The experience at this bank has been disappointing. Despite having eight tellers, the wait times are consistently long, and this is particularly true during morning hours when queues are long and staff numbers seem limited. It's not uncommon for staff to make time-consuming errors.Further complicating matters, I've experienced multiple instances where appointments, even for routine processes like opening new accounts, were cancelled last minute by the staff due to their lack of certainty on how to complete the tasks. I've often been passed from one representative to another without any resolution. Despite leaving several voicemails, my calls have gone unreturned.For now, the inconvenience of migrating my existing accounts and services to another bank has kept me from switching completely. However, my recent experiences have led me to open new accounts and services at other banks instead of here.Also, it's worth noting that these issues aren't exclusive to this location. I've encountered similar problems at their branch near Etobicoke, where appointments were equally prone to last-minute cancellations.If you're considering this bank, I'd recommend exploring other options and comparing service fees for the services you require. In my experience, the high fees charged by RBC do not match the level of service provided.
