I am completed disgusted with the service provided by this company. I am from Toronto and was visiting Quebec City with plans to travel to Montreal then head back home from there. We came to celebrate my partner’s birthday in Quebec City and planned to visit his family in Montreal in which we needed to rent a car. I had made a reservation at a location close to the hotel we were staying at (Chateau Frontenac) a month prior to departing for our trip. On the day to pick up the car we received a call from the company informing us that the premium car we rented was not available. We said okay and opted for another car. Once this matter was settled the representative, who stated to be the manager, reminded us to bring a credit card. I let her know that I did not have my regular credit card on me however I did have an American credit card. She told me that she could not use my American credit card. I then told her that I would pay via debit and she told me couldn’t accept that either. I told her I could leave a large deposit and she said no. I asked her how she could help us in any way as we desperately needed a car and had plans to return home from Montreal as we flown into Quebec City and had flights booked from Montreal to Toronto where we had set the drop off location for the rental as the Montreal Airport, and she said she could not help. In the Enterprise policy and confirmation email it states that individuals are able to pay via debit and leave a deposit as long as you are able to show utilities bills with name and address on it. 1. I don’t understand why we were called 20 minutes prior to picking up the car to confirm after this reservation was made a month prior; 2. Why was a debit solution not accepted; and 3. The lack a remorse or care this individual had was absolutely appalling as they had no regard for the situation my partner and I were now in. Stuck in Quebec City with limited options and on a time crunch. She could only blatantly say no to every option and provide no substitutes or advice. Thankfully, to the grace of God, we were able to find a bus that was heading to Montreal in a timely manner and had to rush to the bus location not getting the opportunity to purchase items we planned to before leaving. If I could give Enterprise a zero rating I would. They do not care about their customers and have little respect for them.

Only giving them a 4 stars instead of 5 stars because nobody picked up the numerous calls on the Saturday we were supposed to initially pick up the car.We wanted to confirm if the timing online was correct as we were running 15 mins late but nobody picked up at all. We tried calling an hour before closing to see if we should even attempt driving there or pick up the car the next day.We drove all the way and had to come back the next day and start our trip.Customer service was great at pick up and drop off 5/5Car couldve been a little cleaner but we were happy with the condition 4.5/5Thank you for being part of the adventure that we had exploring the East Coast! Will rent again.Hopefully we will get through to someone on the phone next time if need be.

First I had to wait on hold and try calling back several times throughout the previous day, just to ask for a pick-up service for the day of my rental (which they indicate they have). On the phone she assured me I would be picked up at 9am on the scheduled day. Today, I called at 9am and no one had even known they were supposed to pick me up. They said they'd be here in twenty minutes. I waited and no one came. I can't wait all day because I have work. Don't offer a service and then repeatedly lie about it. This breaks my plans. I will have to find another way to run my errand.Do not rent here.Also the previous time I had rented here I had to wait over an hour just to get to the counter because they were so slow.Just try a different rental agency. In other cities this company is quite good but not here.Hope that helps.
