My oldest son hated getting hair cuts due to numerous bad experiences at other shops. we started going to Tom and he worked with him to help him feel comfortable and always does an amazing cut! Tom has turned him totally around that he now the first one in the chair whenever we go!

Chinwags Barbershop is just a cool set up shop in Tom's home. Centrally located in Dartmouth just ofd the Circumferential hwy, 2 blocks off the main road leaving Dartmouth. Close to Mic Mac Mall, Dartmouth Crossing, Burnside, it's the perfect location to come from anywhere, especially coming from Halifax, Eastern Passage, Cole Harbour, and downtown. Literally pick a bridge to cross over from Halifax, it's so convenient of a location.Great conversation, a great haircut, in a cool in home shop! Competitive prices, and a great guy! After trying out various barbershops in HRM, I'm finally able to say I'm satisfied with Chinwags as my regular spot. Tom goes above and beyond to make sure I leave feeling refreshed and 100% satisfied with my haircut. I've asked for a variation of styles over the last 2 years, and Tom has been able to accomplish every single one. I highly recommend this establishment. Give it a try!!!
