South Cariboo Visitor Centre

The staff were a great help with maps and info...had a fun shopping experience there as well. Delighted to find a postbox outside so I could mail a postcard immediately rather than look for one in a town I don't know. The building was attractive and well situated...ie easily spotted by tourists passing through and with easy, ample parking.

Love that they have a fenced grassy area for dogs or kids to apply play. I like that it looks out over water and you can bird watch. Not just an average visitors centre

Free charging for EV's. Lots around to keep you occupied while your car charges. Beautiful easy walk around the lake. Fabulous dog park within walking distance. We always stop here and meet the nicest people each time.

The world's largest x country skiis out front can't miss it. Nice gift shop and lots of local info

We were fortunate enough to stop into this hidden gem while walking around the pond at the arena. We never knew this existed. We knew of the giant skis of course...but...not of the 2 amazing women inside this place. Unfortunately...the one beautiful lady was retiring the day we were introduced. Her successor is equally knowledgeable and beautiful. This place is so much more than an info centre. We bought gifts for our kids in there and gifts for family members. We bought our son a beautiful wooden handcrafted snakes and ladders travel game. We bought warm fluffy socks for our daughter that we paid almost 3 times the amount elsewhere. They have a maple section for confection goodies. They have gorgeous jewelry and clothing and even sunglasses and charging cables for electronics. They gave us a complete package of all surrounding lakes, trails and camping areas. They helped us with absolutely everything. We had almost given up on residing here and then these ladies showed us so much of what we would be missing. They schooled us..lol. They have beautiful clean restrooms as well. Just a nice spot to stop on your way through our beautiful town. Thank you so much ladies!!

One of the best visitor centres around. If you need any information on anything, drop in. Always smiling faces who are happy to help. They will even help with setting up reservations for your trip. Wildly knowledgable on the area. Plus the grounds are always clean and dog friendly.

Free charging station and a beautiful loop trail while you wait. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Clean bathrooms and plenty of information to help you plan your holidays. Must visit!

Nice building, free EV Chargers. Only 4 stars because the skis are too big... Can't even ride 'em!

Clean bathrooms, cute shop, nice grass area with picnic tables in the back for lunch and photo ops.
