Dr Rodriguez was quiet but pleasant. My husband saw him after he was diagnosed with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction." He ordered several tests and confirmed this diagnosis. He prescribed Furosemide and Metoprolol which he later changed to Bisoprolol. Beta blockers are known to slow heart rate and My husband's was in the 40's and 50's on a very small dose. Although we advised him more than once about this and the fact that there was no improvement of symptoms ( shortness of breath on exertion
