Above and beyond my expectations. I let them know ahead of time that I have PTSD that makes medical appointments hard for me, and everyone I spoke with and met was very kind, reassuring, and non-judgmental. Other reviews mention how patient and accommodating Dr. Pacquette is, which was my experience as well—he even offered to do a practice run" of the glaucoma test with me

I had some problems with the glasses I bought. The first young dispenser I got was earnest by not very knowledgeable. When I brought them back in, Jennifer helped me and was excellent: knowledgeable and effective. When I picked up the replacement pair, Carey was also great: knowledgeable and effective as well as friendly of course.

I purchased my first pair of progressive glasses. Carey was AMAZING in helping me make all sorts of decisions. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Particularly I cannot thank her enough for her patience with me having hundreds of questions. Oakbay optometry team is there for you, and they make sure that you are happy with what you are purchasing. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Paterson is King when it comes to everything optical related. I have seen him for almost 10 years and never had a bad visit.As long as I live on the Peninsula - I will never see another eye doctor. Thank you Dr. Paterson!!!!

I highly recommend the Oak Bay Optometry clinic. From start to finish all staff were charming, helpful and knowledgeable. The surroundings are nice, appointments were on time and excellent suggestions were made to me. I wasn’t happy with my glasses due to the photo grey additive and they are replacing them with no charge and a smile.What a great place! I have also encouraged my husband and brother to go to the clinic and they were both extremely happy as well. My brother has autism so it was important to me that he be treated well. He said they Very Nice to him.

I had an appointment with Dr Patterson at 4.15pm, arrived 5 minutes early, checked in and was seated in the waiting area. At 4.35 I was still waiting so I attracted the receptionists attention, she looked down the hall and said the doctors doors still closed

Highly recommend Oak Bay Optometry for your next eye exam or to pick out your frames. They were incredibly kind, patient and thorough. I had a great experience getting my first pairs of glasses. They fit everything specifically to my needs. I was very impressed!

Oak Bay Optometry
I was very impressed with Oak Bay optometry. A magnet fell out of the corner of my glasses that is used with my attachable sunglasses. I was pleased that they did the repair job and did not charge me. They are as good as new and I saved a lot of money by not having to replace the frames.
