Sumack Loft Graphic Design

I worked with Sumack Loft Graphic to create a new logo for our lake associations brand new website. They were very easy to deal with and the end product is wonderful. Our Membership love the new look.

I stumbled across Sumack Loft and Auni Milne quite by accident. I see it as serendipitous now. I was in the very early stages of starting a business and was looking at websites of businesses that were similar to mine. Down in one corner of one of those websites it said logo by Sumack Loft.I wasn’t thinking about logos at that point but decided to take a look. I fell in love with her use of colour. I love colour.A short while later, when it was time to think about a logo, I was looking at different companies and their work. Nothing out there inspired me and I kept going back to Sumack Loft’s site. No one used colour in the way the Auni did. The others, metaphorically, were beige. Hah! Pun intended.I reached out to Auni to begin the process of a logo design. She was professional right from the start with the design process. It was a very detailed process she took you through. As I am a detail person myself I was a fan of hers. Very organized.Over the next couple of months we took a very deep dive into the construction of a logo. Being an artisan myself and a very detailed one at that, I think I was annoyingly nit-picky way too many times. Her patience, professionalism and grace impressed me. A lot!At the end, she created my incredibly beautiful and unique logo that I never get tired of looking at and have gotten many compliments about. It was worth every penny and time spent. Now we are moving on to creating other beautiful marketing for my shop. I look forward to having a long and creative relationship with Auni at Sumack Loft.

I recently had the very pleasant experience of working on a project with Auni Milne, aka Sumack Loft Graphic Design, in which she designed the covers for a book that I had just completed. I was impressed by the calibre of needs assessment questions that she asked up front which resulted in a very creative and near perfect first draft, requiring only two very minor tweaks which she cheerfully and quickly did. In spite of having to work around not one, but two power outages following the devastating May 2022 storm in the Ottawa area, she still brought the project in on time and on budget. The personal interaction was equally pleasant. I'd actually five her ten stars, not just five!
