RBC Royal Bank

Nothing nice to say, about this Branch or their entire staff. Darren and Nicole, both are extremely incompetent to run this bank. After a long wait due to an Estate. They claim, even after the probate (cost over $5000, that took 6 weeks from the Supreme Court) that has been verified, the Will and bank accounts. These people claim its head office holding the inheritance. I can't understand anyone who would bank at RBC. Be aware, know when you pass away, it will take over 10 months to get your inheritance. Because these incompetent employees, do not know what their doing. Pull all your funds out before your family goes through this choas, from this financial institute.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, DO NOT USE THIS BANK. Spent 2 months trying to get a simple issue resolved. Had to escalate the case to a supervisor/manager and was told MULTIPLE times that I would receive a call back regarding, but never received a call back. When forced to call back to have the issue dealth with, they run you around, have no idea what is going on and clearly do not care about providing good customer service. So disgusted with their customer service, will be switching to another institute ASAP

Very nice employees no water .

A payment on our credit card was flagged as a courtesy" of your bank as a possible fraud which I appreciate...However between my husband and myself we have spent a total of 4.5 hours on hold trying to fix this and yet NOTHING. I attempted to book an appointment on line and there was NO AVAILABILITY for the next month. I'm really not sure what to do at this point other than to cut our card up and go to another bank. I would appreciate some type of customer service from this bank"

Very slow service too many tellers chatting and not doing banking how long should people wait while cashiers talk about personal chat

I was first in line when they opened and it took 20 minutes to make a cash deposit and get a few rolls of change. Then I was refused the ability to cash a cheque for my business account because I didn't have a client card. I explained that I dont have a client card because I don't have access to the account for everyday spending, only making deposits. Her solution was to send me to my personal bank to cash it. My personal bank confirmed what I already knew which is that the cheque had to be cashed at the bank where the business account was. So I had to go back here, now wait in line and get a different person who told me I couldn't cash the cheque because it wasn't in my name. Again, this is a business account that belongs to the company I work for and not me personally. They don't make cheques out to me, they make them out to the business as the money is for business purposes. Anyway, I had to make 3 separate bank visits back to back while on work time first thing on a Monday morning when banks are super busy, waste over an hour of my time while on the clock for work and put me behind in my own tasks for my own job for the day, and also got conflicting information from two different employees; neither of which made any sense given my situation.

My bank of choice because they have always done right by me!! Very friendly & courteous staff, always very helpful!! This is the only bank I will deal with and I have been there since the mid 80’s when my Grandmother highly recommended them!!!

these people let family members, who I have no contact with add themselves to my account with out my approval never stepped into bank. they say they did it online. over 6 figures out of my account in a month. stringed me along for 6 months then told me this is considered family friendly fraud. it was so bad I had to close this account because they said they couldn't remove them from my account without there approval. I had this account since 2013. 2019 when the fraud tool place. I bank with a different bank now. can you believe they wanted the people who stole from me permission to take them off my account. I have it all documented. do not deal with these people no accountability. good luck if you think this is a wise tale. this is straight facts. they even started paying there bills directly out of my account. lol. just craziness, what they will do if no one is paying attention. important not I never added anyone to my account or gave the bank permission to add anyone. they never called or paused my account even though 100's of thousands where being drained. great peoplemy new bank anything irregular right away is paused and they call me. RBC in my opinion are no better than the people that stole from Me. many people at the bank knew my personally im only telling this story to warn others im not getting my money back, but its only fair people know the story and what they did tome during the pandemic and probably wont point in my life considering I couldn't even walk and was recovering from a life changing MVA.Protect yourself, pull your money now. any denial by RBC and I will add pictures of the withdrawals and we will see who's telling the truth.
