Horrible service and they do not care for the client’s needs. The are unable to provide a regular worker. Double bookings, no show ups, last minute cancellations and the client is not notified. This agency provides home care services in a specific geographic location in Calgary. It is contracted by Alberta Health services and in most cases AHS has very little control over the agency’s operations. As there is no competition in each quadrant, then this agency has more control and will care less for the quality of service it provides as well as meeting the client’s needs. It may contract cheap workers. I cancelled their services as they never sticked to a plan and nor did they fulfill their promises.

HiIn terms of searching job I gained lots of experience and learned a lot about people skills and professioncy especially at the HR level. Most of them are not professional at all they just think they own the company by wrong judgment, they just sent an automated setting of email acknowledging receipt of application and they never get back to applicants even if they were not the selected and most important in the level of HR they forget to check your assessment results to check as a result it's all wasting time 30 min tele interview, 45-1 hr online assessment and wait to hear back from HR madam which never happens. When you try to reach them back either by phone or email, they just use 5 letter word sorry I forgot to check the result of your assessment I postponed your candidacy for next opportunity pretty soon we have another since our last conversation I applied more than 10 times to part time job openings and never hear back from you. I think it's better to not give false hope to someone who is looking for a job, you should remember that you are working their too and you don't own the company. This is for Kiran KandolaThanks

Recently, I had the pleasure of participating in my practicum 3 home care preceptorship, with CBI, this was a excellent experience for me my preceptor (mentor) Yesief (Joe) Ghebreslasie , was amazing, he has built wonderful relationships with his clients in N.E Calgary, I spoke and worked with each of them along side Joe, none of them had anything but good to say of him as a person, conduct, ethics and work. It was a honor working along side him.

THE WORST!!!!¡!!If I could give -100 I would. This company is the MOST poorly run INCOMPETENT people I have ever dealt with. They are never on time, never have the correct health care plans. It is 6:40 someone named Jamal was supposed to be here at 4 for respite and after 3 phone calls to the office I have given up.Everyday they are either late or way to early. The staff never have the correct care plans.I have phoned the office many times and the majority of the staff are rude or indifferent. I have even been hang up on by one of the mail schedulers. No I did not sweat but did state the incompetence. Why AHS is using them I cannot understand. This has been going on for years. Some of there HCA's are great but this company is absolutely the WORST and without AHS contract I am sure would not be in business.

Unfortunately I have been a client for a number of years. This agency is EXTREMELY DISORGANIZED AND GIVES NO CONSIDERATION TO CLIENTS. The majority of staff in office, and out of office, are from different places in Africa... so, English is not their first language. Communication is a huge problem. The Coordinators (in-house staff) do as they please literally. They change times, dates and homecare staff without even telling us. They expect us to wait around for them... as long as it takes.... up to a day. There is no consideration from the staff towards clients as to how their days had been planned outside of the SET appointment time for home care. We have a life too! Most of the Coordinators talk down to us... they treat us like low lifes! I wish I was in a position that I could pay more for a private person to come in... but I can't. So, I and others, are stuck with them!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS AGENCY!!!!!

My dad has Alzheimer's and AHS contracts out to this company to provide home care on a regular schedule when my mom needs to go out. Our experience has been awful. They consistently show up an hour late meaning my mom has had to leave my dad alone and hope they eventually show up. Today they showed up and hour and a half late. It is unacceptable to be consistently extremely late when providing care to someone who has Alzheimer's. My mom is unable to help him adjust when the workers get there because she can't wait for whenever they eventually show up. My dad is left alone which presents thousands of hazards and potential issues. What if he leaves and gets lost? What if he hurts himself? He needs someone to watch over him he does not have the capacity to be left alone anymore. This care they provide is dangerous and causes more issues than it solves. This is completely unacceptable.

Consistently show up hours late. Give the absolute bare minimum service. The level of care has really plummeted since AHS began outsourcing to this company. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

You've destroyed my friends home, you've charged her for services you provide for free, you leave the place an absolute disaster zone and have even left the door WIDE OPEN with it snowing - meaning her home, her father and her pets were left at risk. Also costing more to warm the house and keep everyone at a healthy temp to avoid sickness. As someone who is lucky to have an amazing provider to help with my mom, I can confidently say that your services and assistance is trash. Step up and make it right!!!!

I worked for this company as a health care aide, and I left after 3 months when I realized how horrible their communication was between workers, and the clients. the clients are never notified of who will come and at what time, or if anything in the schedule has changed. Meaning clients can never really make plans since the health care aides will also show up whenever they want. they would double book the health care aides and tell them to make it work" so even though you may be scheduled with the client for 1 hour

Many of the girls really need proper training. There are a few who are very good at their job.If they come into your home and do not give proper care to your loved ones they should not be there. We have had quite a few come to our home, if I was there boss they would not have a job. If you call in and cancel they still get paid they also request you call in. This way the worker gets paid and the Government pay them. If they come into your home, look at the patient and do nothing or you are doing most of the work for them, they get paid for doing nothing. Will now be looking into private home care workers and respite. When they come into the home they should at least look at the care plan if it is her first visit. This person this evening looked into the bedroom looked at my mother and asked if I had a lift, which I replied no. She said she could not help as it is a two person job. I had three ablations today on my lower back, once she left I did everything she was supposed to do and she will get paid. I did everything even though I was instructed not to do any heavy lifting and bending for 48 hours.I opened my mother’s pad and asked her if she thought it should be changed, she said my Mom would be fine. I purposely did this to see what her response would be.I wonder if they would leave their loved one in a soiled pad all night. TREAT THESE SENIORS WITH RESPECT!!!
