STAY AWAY! Management has changed! This business was perfect prior to the change of ownership. I brought a pair a jeans to be altered shorter. They said it would take two weeks. That is much longer than other places but I agreed to it. The morning that it was due for pickup, I called and they said it would be ready by 5pm. I arrived at 6pm and they said it was not ready yet and that it was next to be worked on. They said I was early and I said they told me to come at 5pm and that they were already one hour late - they checked the time and said that they didnt realize the time flew by so fast. No apology what-so-ever. I came back at 7pm and still had to wait an extra 10 minutes. I believe they rushed the job as there were threads hanging off the alteration. Quality is no longer the same. Poor craftsmanship. They tried to charge me more than I was quoted - giving endless reasons - even though the price was documented. Extremely rude and dismissive attitude from the owner/manager. She started yelling at me. BEWARE!

Don't spend your money here. Went to get the seams on some pants tightened as well as hemmed. Paid a pretty penny for this service and waited a week (which I was warned about, so that's fine). Picked the pants up, only to notice that the next time I wear them, the seams were not tightened. Based on the other reviews sounds like there is no point in even trying to take the pants back and talk to the seamstress about it because they will argue with you instead of trying to fix them. Now I have to find a new place to fix my pants.

Got my jacket and dress shirt alterations and quite satisfied overall with what they did. They did a pretty good job . Jas listened to what I wanted and executed the alterations as I wanted. They did the work in a timely manner. Overall my fiancé and I are happy with how it turned out.

I had bought a beautiful dress was not able to wear for long time because of the fitting issue. Then i reached stich world. They understood my fitting requirements so well and suggested a couple of things as well. I was ecstatic the way my dress fits on me after alterations.Highly recommended for the alterations.

Amazing service! These talented and committed group of women are truly artists. They made magic with a beautiful dress that was too big. You can't even tell where they did the fittings. They work seamlessly, fast and threy also have great customer service skills. Would definitely recommend!

Although I didn't experience the standard in customer service, I elected to proceed with an alteration of an expensive item. They have done an adequate job of it and hence nothing to complain about.I would have liked to have gotten a better initial greeting, and I was a little surprised at a tip prompt while paying in advance. Pricing is on the higher end too.I would suggest shopping around as there are many shops around performing the same services and there is room for improvement here.

Got my expensive jacket altered from here that had been sitting in my closet for about a year. I got the arms and overall length of the jacket altered. I am very happy with results. The jacket fits great and there is no obvious signs of alterations, it looks as if it came from factory like that.

I wish I could give zero stars. Stitch World ruined a brand new dress I brought in. I was fitted in the store but they cut it poorly and it's now way too tight as a result. I'm so disappointed, especially considering what I paid. Their prices are way too high. I overheard one woman arguing with a customer about how difficult it was for them to hem pants and that's why their prices are so high ($50 to hem a pair of jeans!). Go to Metropolis Alterations in the mall instead.

Fixed my jacket and a few pairs of pants I cannot part with! They did a great job, thanks so much!
