Good berry farm

Good and hard working and friendly people. Great Berries.

One of my best friend recommended me to go this blueberry farm, today I took kids to pick up. We arrived there around 5:00PM, took less than one hour to pick as much as we can. At present the variety is Duke. Their duke tasted sweat and good , we loved the texture of this duke, size is from medium to large. Only couple rows for pick up at this moment. We didn’t have enough time to pick up since they closed at 6:00PM. Really worth to go there for pick up or directly purchased if you are lived south surrey or white rock area so conveniently

Went there today for some fresh Duke blueberry experience today. We appreciate the convenience of living in Surrey with so many local farms. Unfortunately, the experience turned out horribly. We arrived with our own buckets and were told we could only use their boxes, which is understandable. So off we went to the upick area with the hopes of filling 10~14lbs. An older gentleman who should be the owner was going down each roll to verbally tell customers to be careful with picking blueberries. I saw him talk to another customer prior to us. While he came up our lane, he stood by us and stared at us for a good 3 min, I was on the phone so I knew the time. After getting off the phone, I asked if he had a question. He started off by saying yes, every berry is money to them and how we should be careful not drop on the ground. I told him, yes we understand and we are careful. He even admitted that he's been standing to watch my kids pick. I also watched my kids pick and already told them to not touch ALL berries, but to only pick the ones they see that they want (due to covid concerns). So I know they are doing their best to be careful. Then he comes closer and closer and touching my kids hats and talking super close (without mask). I asked him to keep his 6 ft distance. Then the conversation went downhill. Overall, if they allow u-pick business, they need to take into account the potential losses of customer not handling properly etc. But I sure don't enjoy picking and paying for my own fruits yet being monitored and starred at. We left before finishing and I insisted to pay for the cost of the berries we picked so far. The woman at the barnhouse, prob the daughter, apologized for our bad experience. This one star is really for the berries and not for the u-pick experience.
