Flavours of Unionville

I went for ice cream today and ordered a chocolate/vanilla swirl" an Asian lady proceeded to give me chocolate ice cream and explained that the vanilla ice cream is actually mixed in with the chocolate to create one flavor (not at all a swirl). I told her she should have mentioned that when I ordered it and that I'd get a vanilla ice cream instead. She then told me she cannot throw away my "swirl" ice cream for me. I had to walk away from the store front and find a garbage on my own. She then handed me a vanilla frozen yogurt cone and walked away. A white male then approached the window and explained in a condescending tone that he assumed I wanted vanilla frozen yogurt since I ordered a swirl. We had an unnecessary 5 minute conversation where I had to explain what a "vanilla/chocolate swirl" is supposed to be and that a vanilla cone would be vanilla ice cream and not vanilla frozen yogurt. The man then took my frozen yogurt cone and threw it away for me (something the Asian lady refused to do) and replaced it with vanilla ice cream. The cone was stale and soggy. Something as simple as getting ice cream was such a disaster. Save your money. There are other ice cream stores near by with employees that have brain cells and actually offer customer service."

There was no line when we got there, but it filled up pretty quickly. We got 2 froyos (mango, Pina colada), and 1 gelato (Ferrero rocher). Waited around 5-10 mins to get them. The taste is mediocre, although I'd go back again and try the pistachio (was sold out at the time)

Recently visited this place and tried their Chocolate Vanilla soft ice cream and it was pretty good also had to wait in the line to order but got the ice cream very quickly after ordering. It is a bit expensive but I guess Unionville is a tourist spot so the price is justifiable.

Went today with my family to this place, we ordered a couple of ice cream (those were very tasty) and a mocha espresso Frappuccino which tasted like something was bad with it. Once we went to the ask the staff they told me that it has milk, cappuccino ice cream and an espresso and it suppose to “taste like that” (she also tried it) very disappointing her attitude…after that I didn’t drink it and had to put it in the garbage. I worked in an Italian place for years and that is for sure not the taste of a combination like this…. Any ways do yourself a favor and don’t order this… and I think the service could be WAY better

They have a wide variety of flavors here. Their pistachio gelato is my favorite, it has real pistachio nuts and the flavor is well balanced, much unlike those pistachio flavored almond ice cream out there.

The cutest ice cream shop ever! Lots of variety and really good ice cream / frozen yogurt. I got the Chocolate frozen yogurt.

Really good flavors of yoghurt icecream. We tried chocolate, strawberry and mango. All good and not too sugary, perfect balance which i like. Would recommend highly.

There are some seats outside, good to have gelato in sunny warm day.

Quaint little shop to get ice cream if you’re walking by. There’s a good amount of ice cream options and seats to relax and enjoy your treat. I’m only giving 4 stars because it took quite a while to receive our ice creams despite having no customers before or after us.
