Brought in 4 curtain panels to have them shortened. She said $8-$10 per panel. I fill out the slip, she takes the copy and says the total will be $100. I ask how the price just doubled. She then says: what do you want to pay?". I took my curtains and left.Poor business practice and unprofessional customer service. Go somewhere else."

if you could give a zero star out of five I absolutely would, this place is the biggest money grab I’ve seen in Lethbridge. I brought in my $140 bridesmaid dress to get hemmed and taken in an inch on the waist. The total came to $280 which is already two times the amount of my dress. I had no other choice because I was going away and needed to get this done before the wedding. she gave me a date I could pick it up which was about two weeks after I dropped it off. I came on that day and she told me it wasn’t ready, it was still hanging on the hook with no alterations done to it. She said to give her until tomorrow, so I did. The next day I came when they opened and the dress was laying on a chair and she said it’s still not done give me until 12 o’clock. finally she called me and said my dress was done, the wedding is in three days so I really have no other options. The alterations were average the hem was nice but it still was loose on my waist. i’m pretty young so I’m not sure if I just got taken advantage of or this is just the pricing she gives to every customer. average alterations and extended time needed was not worth my $280. On top of all of this, I gave her $100 in cash during the fitting so it would split that HUGE amount up. Then when I picked it up I told her I’d like to pay Visa and she denied and said she only takes cash. I’m sure she recorded some if not none of the cash I paid her and pocketed herself. SHADYY. It’s is my first time going here and it will be my last, I am extremely disappointed and hope I save you from the disappointment! I always go to Northside Alterations because they are lovely 5/5 for sure. The only reason I didn’t was because they were closed for construction in their parking lot.
