Choo Choo, Let's Go! Child Care Centre / Centre de Garde

We had our son at Choo Choo for just over a year before we moved away and he loved every moment. The staff and owners treated him like their own and ran the best programs that encouraged both learning and play. The facility was amazing and in such a convenient location. We truly miss it and wish we could have stayed there longer! Highly recommend this facility:)

Our daughter has been going to Choo Choo Let’s Go for over a year and has been on both sides now (infant/toddler and 3-5). She loves her time at Choo Choo! The programs and educational content are fantastic, there is plenty of outdoor time and many nature walks, and the staff are so caring and fun. The centre is a very inviting space and they are diligent in terms of health and safety. It’s worth saying again just how amazing the staff and owner (Israel) are and they really make it a great place! The communication is great, and we feel lucky to have our child in a centre that makes her socio-emotional wellbeing a priority.

Both my kids have attended Choo Choo Let's Go and always ran to the front door eager to play, learn and explore. Our youngest still attends and looks forward to school every day. Lots of engaging and hands on activities. Loads of outside time. The staff are positive and respectful. I would highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for a daycare.

This daycare has always made our family comfortable and happy to bring her there. They are a caring group of people that are there to help. Isreal has made sure since day one he had a direct relationship with us so we could feel comfortable to talk about things with our child and life. Even with some staff coming in going he has always made sure he has great people working there. Our daughter has always made a strong connection with at least 2 of the staff members. They have done incredibly well through these hard times with covid and made sure he reached out to everyone. I'm happy our girl has a place that can be her second home instead of just a preschool. They go on nature walks all the time, her and the staff always have a story to tell us. Their app is very useful as they can communicate through out the day with what they are doing. When your child needs a sick day its just a simple message no phone call needed.

We loved this daycare. We had a child on both the infant and the preschool side, so got to get familiar with all staff. Everyone is so welcoming and kind, and willing to work with you and your children. They offer all kinds of programs, including science experiments, arts and crafts, music/dance and preschool prep! Both of my boys have made some wonderful friends and we are sad to leave. We would recommend this daycare to anyone who's looking for quality childcare and kind and compassionate staff. A+!

We are so pleased with Choo Choo and the care they provide for our children on a daily basis.  There is always a variety of activities happening as well as plenty of outdoor time.  The staff is very professional, courteous and compassionate.  Your attention to detail, creativity and play environment are beyond what we could have hoped for and we love the convenient location.  You have treated our children like your own family since day one and we are very appreciative.   Thank you kindly for the outstanding care and service.

Choo Choo Let’s go is an incredible center with wonderful staff! We were one of the lucky ones who was able to have our daughter attend here part-time for a few years. The staff are incredibly loving and nurturing with the kids, and as a bonus, children even learn other languages. Choo Choo has an expansive early learning curriculum to help prepare the little ones for their school years. The owner Israel, and his staff, were always very kind and highly accommodating to our ever-changing family schedule, which we were so appreciative of. Our child has attended Choo Choo for a year now and loves it!Every morning our child is excited to show up and see all of her friends and the amazing staff at this daycare centre(all of which are excellent at what they do).She is treated with genuine love and attention, gets a ton of outside time and has tons of opportunity to do a variety of crafts, sing-song, dance and play with all of the other kids she attends with.The centre takes their safety and Covid-19 measures very seriously and they have all been careful to make sure that the centre is a safe place for our babies to spend their day.We appreciate the efforts of all of the staff at Choo Choo and encourage them to continue doing what they are doing because keeping our kids safe and well taken care of should be priority!I would recommend reading all of the reviews on this daycare as well as making a visit to meet Israel and his staff and see for yourself how warm and inviting this daycare is. I would 100% recommend it to any parent!

We have had 2 different children attend this daycare. The staff are all very helpful and professional. I would recommend this daycare to anyone else in the area. The staff work very hard and help the owners manage the centre extremely well.With that being said, I do recommend that if your child requires more one on one attention or cannot handle larger group centers, specifically at preschool age, then this daycare may not be the best option, especially if multiple incidents begin to reoccur.We are very lucky to have a daycare of this size and quality located in sooke.Please also not - any inappropriate actions taken by a staff member does not reflect the views or feelings of the owners.

We could not be more happy with Choo Choo lets go. The staff and admin are incredible, full stop. Our son is thriving, comes home excited and with stories of their adventures inside and outside the center.The environment they are fostering for the kids pays great attention to the fundamentals of learning, safety, and companionship, even in these uncertain times. The steps they've taken to ensure that environment is protected for the kids is above reproach, and shows how much they care.
