Kanda Optical Brisdale

I've had nothing but great experiences with the ladies at Kanda as well as the doctors. We've been coming here for about 6 years now and have purchased many sunglasses and prescription glasses. I also brought my parents here and they haven't gone anywhere else since then. The level of service we receive is 5/5 every single time. I highly recommend getting your glasses here, they're patient, friendly and knoweldgable.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Terrible experience. Dr. Ravi just makes people read the same line for every eye test, you can practically memorize it and have inaccurate eye exam results. For contact lenses, these people charge for sample fees when you can go to any other optical centre and receive them for free. They have terrible slow service and have rude representatives, especially the mother and daughter duo at the front. Their prices are above average and don't have experienced people in that store to make any reasonable recommendations. I've already complained at Health Canada. Choose another optical centre or stick with blurry vision, but don't ever go to these guys.

Parvinder was extremely helpful to me, she helped me pick out a new pair of glasses. The turnaround time getting the glasses was fast. The quality of the glasses are incredible!Appreciate Parvinder for the quick work and more importantly, the advice! Will be back, and highly recommend!

This optical is the best one in the region, they always make things clear and easy for me to understand. They don’t hasstle me into getting something I don’t want or need and make the glasses buying process very easy. Appointments are easy to set up and scheduled correctly in time. Very nice staff by far the best optical in Canada

I had a great experience here yesterday when I went to go for my eye exam. Dr. Abbas Hussain and Kiran provided me with exceptional customer service. The selection of frames is great too. I will definitely go back again. Keep up the great customer service!

Service was excellent at Kanda Optical. Our whole family got their glasses same day. Dr. Ravi was very patient with us. He is very thorough in his approach and extremely professional. He made sure we got the right glasses and took extra time to prescribe the right eye glasses for four of us. Everyone around was helpful but Dr. Ravi is excellent optometrist. Our glasses came out perfect. Dr. Ravi took time to review my sons short sightedness and advised on benefits and drawbacks of different procedures to fix it. He gave us proper advice and we are really thankful to him. Overall great service!!!

Recently, visited Brisdale branch of Kanda Optical for my Father's eye exam and glasses.. My father, who is around seventy years old, hasn't had an eye exam for six years.. He says head lights bother him all the time also complaining of burning sensation in the morning.. We met Dr.Ravi, at the office.. He listened to my Father's complaints carefully and did a comprehensive eye exam, spent more time as my father doesn't read English letters. He used different eye charts and got the best combination of lenses which give the best vision possible.. He explained us the starting of cataracts and the glare from lights.. Dryness and the burning sensation.. Prescribed us Lubricants to use. My father asked about Progressive lenses benefits as he needed glasses for both distance and near.. Dr explained us the pros and cons of Progressive lenses and the time needed to get used to that.. unbiased, highly Professional Dr. My Father settled with two separate pairs.. Kiran, the Optician advised us the right lenses and size of the frames.. Everything went well and my father was extremely happy with his new glasses.. Also I asked Kiran, a pair of free contacts for my daughter to try.. Kiran has politely refused and explained us why free pairs are not given as people misuse that sometimes which leads to potential irreversible damage to the Cornea and connected legal issues involved.. Perfect. A Professional optician, detailed eye exam and highly ethical practice.. One of the best opticians in Brampton.. Saw few negative reviews here!! Look more of abuse rather than any essence. People looking for free stuff on the expense of someone's time and money, please feel free to look out other opticians and practices. Abuse and biased reviews wouldn't help.. Extremely bad experience! I can’t believe Armani doesn’t have an exchange. My wife and I brought two sun glasses. I got an Armani ‘no power’ sun glasses for $200, very uncomfortable and feels like it has power. I called them they said they’ll have someone call back, and no one got back to me. I realized I was ignored. Called them back again after a week or so, no response. Walked into the store and asked for an exchange, they did not agree but got my lens replaced within warranty. I can’t believe if the lens was really changed, absolutely no difference my eye strains when i use it for 5-10 mins. When you point at an object and, look through the lens as you shake your glasses the object doesn’t standstill, there’s a huge movement. It’s a total waste of time and money!

Yesterday I purchased a branded frame from here, they have charged 380 dollars for that. After that I confirmed price of that same frame from kanda optical at trinity mall location, they are offering same frame for 350 and I even confirmed price from 2 other opticals, they are giving price of 340 dollars for the same frame, I have bill and I can also give the names of the opticals from where I confirmed the price. When I called the owner of this store, she is not ready. For refund or exchange, in short I have had the worst experience, I would suggetst all the customers to go to different locations but pls don't waste extra money at this location. They literally charge prices higher than market prices.Not worthed and highly dissatisfied......

Best customer service, I got an eye exam done and the process was so efficient and accurate! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get their eye exam done!!!
