La Frite De L Ile
We went in looking for classic casse-croute food and that is exactly what we got. The young man working the cash register was very nice to customers and keen. We enjoyed our hot-dogs and poutine on the terrasse and it was a very nice experience.A place to stop while on a bike ride because you can sit with your bike to keep an eye on it.

Best tasting classic fries I've ever had. Won't beat the beer battered fries at trios brasseurs, but that might be the beer talking. The smoked meat is also excellent. Also i love that you can just take some chips to eat later at home, they're excellent even a few days later. Careful tho, once the bag is open, it's hard to stop.

We made an afternoon visit ordering family size fries, all dressed hotdogs and fountain soft drinks served in small plastic cups. The restaurant was proper and clean, well maintained and the owner takes great care working behind the counter or tidying up. Very polite and self serve ordering done at the counter. Fries are fresh and not frozen (big bonus) which come in 3 sizes being Small (tiny paper bag), Medium (about the size of 3-4 deck of cards), and Family size which was just over $10 and a good size for left overs that not even 3 people can eat in 1 sitting. The hotdogs were fresh and served on warm steamed buns. We asked for all dressed which was mustard, relish and topped off with their home made sauerkraut (chou-croûte) and a dash of black pepper. In all this is your nice, low traffic, respectful place.

I have been to this place countless times. Always a great place to go for lunch. We are never disappointed. Owner is always so nice. The fries are amazing.

Good fast food with fast service. Nice prices as well. Don't expect some exceptional food. It is a fast food, fries, hot dogs, poutines etc, and it's well done.

This little hideaway in L'ile-Bizard makes their own chips. The trip for these flakes of delight makes the adventure worth it's weight in gold.

Great place to have a quick delish poutine! Love the fries, the cheese curds and the gravy! Service is fast and efficient. Only negative thing is that he closes very early!
