Headstart at Body & Sol Spa

I had an appointment with Heather today. Apparently, she cancelled it and sent me an auto message canceling it. I did not get such a message after my confirmation email. The lady at the desk was very pleasant but Heather snapped at her and was yelling across the salon that she had cancelled it. All the while, her back to me and not addressing me directly. I get that mistakes happen but I won't reschedule with Heather given how rude and unpleasant she was to her coworker.

I am in love with my new hair color thanks to rachelle, tarryn, and Karen. Such amazing service and great conversations. I always walk out of there feeling sexy and happy ! Thank you so so much

Lou Lou is the best hairdresser. Does exactly what you want. The front desk person needs a tuneup. Looks and acts grouchy. If you can excuse her all other staff awesome. Reasonable prices.

I was there for over 3 hours and not one person asked how I was, asked how my experience was, commented on my hair or looked at me. Not a friendly place.

I went there today for highlights and a trim. Super excited to finally get a few hours to pamper myself and put myself first for once, and I was 7 minutes late but I called to let them know and apologized once I got there again. Once I arrived, the receptionist was welcoming but when I met my hairstylist, she seemed irritated I was slightly late and gave me the super cold shoulder and was super unwelcoming and not kind or compassionate when I first sat down. She looked at my hair and made numerous unkind comments on how bad my hair looked and how unhealthy my hair looked. To say it was uncomfortable would be an understatement. I immediately lost my excitement.I went from feeling excited to get my hair done to immediately uncomfortable, judged and completely shut down. I actually froze as she continued to criticize my hair. I sat through the rest of my appointment quiet just hoping it would be over soon. I should have left but I just froze and counted down the minutes until I was finished. We hardly talked and it was very uncomfortable. I definitely won’t be coming back and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place ever ever ever. I get people are understaffed and stressed and unhappy but this was next level.

My second experience was yesterday and Brandy was my stylists/ owner. She did a phenomenal job, took her time and was meticulous from start to finish. I have had many compliments and would highly recommend her to anyone. The price was very reasonable.

I am thrilled by my first visit to a new-to-me salon. I felt like a care-worn senior when I entered Headstart. But after Stacey worked her magic, I looked - and felt - 20 years younger!Thank you, everyone, for helping to brighten my day as well as my crowning glory. I look forward to my next rejuvenating experience at Headstart.

Would not recommend getting your eyebrows done here. I used to come here to get my hair done by rachelle and she was amazing but the fact that they actually thought the job they did on my friends daughter was in any way ok is beyond me.If anyone who works there is reading this then the girl who did it will know exactly who i am talking about. Try a new profession because you just made this business look like amateurs and in my opinion they need to re evaluate their employees.P.s i know i seem like im overreacting and id post a photo to show what was done but it would make the first time experience of having her eyebrows done right before starting at a new school even worse.Thanks but no thanks, id highly recommend going anywhere else.
