It's N Ontario. Owner and staff put a lot of effort into making it as 5 star as a motel gets. I stay in a LOT of hotels for work! It isn't and can't be a big chain concrete luxury palace with the royal ammenities.Rooms are clean and simple. Coffee+ home made pastries in the office along with the down home friendly staff are added value. Good place to stay.

Right on the highway but for some reason I got a good sleep after 10 hours on my bike. Was able to park next to my room (#109). Room was big, renovated bath with nice big shower stall.

No shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer. Bed was missing a leg so it was lopsided. Sheets were clean, but there were suspicious stains on the blanket and comforter that totally grossed us out. Everything in the room was sticky, it was gross. We had to book this because we hit really bad rain storms driving through N. Ontario (along with many more travelers) and availability was limited.

Overall a 3/5 star hotel I would reccomend anyone who is traveling to thunderbay before you stop there check to see if all the hotels are booked (alot of sports events that cause the city to be fully booked) and if they are booked try the motels in this town. This one was fairly clean for the price point and renovated. I would say for a motel this was on the higher end. Clean and tidy rooms and worth the money paid 100 percent.Downfalls of the town is food they have a tavern for food (open somtimes) and a subway and that's your choices. Also if your okay with grocery items to cook it has a general store beside the motel.

Stayed one night in Aug and had to check out 30 mins into the stay.Felt very unsafe for my family based on the vibes of the people.A lot of drunk people, drunk guy I’m front of our room with puke all over him.A lot of racist people asking questions where my family was from and looking at my truck.I don’t recommend staying here if you don’t want the same feelings.Completely disappointing, didn’t realize racism still existed in Canada and I was born and raised here.

Booked a room a couple of weeks ago, was able to get in, was nice and decent on price, and all was good. Tried calling a couple of days ago, was told they can't do bookings until day of a day in advance"

Very Dirty. Sink stopper was stuck 2 inches down the drain. Both beds were broken. Caved in when you sat on them. Kept my shoes on, carpet felt dirty. Toilet seat was broken. I am not picky at all, but cleanliness is a priority.

This is a motel in a highway city, so it is what it is.Did the room smell like old smoke and industrial cleaner? Yes.Did I get used to the smell after 10 minutes and barely notice it? Yes.Was every hard surface in the place slightly sticky? Yes.Did I leave everything in my bag instead of unpacking? Yes.We're the carpets stained? Yes.Did I sleep only with the throw sheet because the bedding had old-motel smell? Yes.Was the washroom clean? Yes - looked newly renovated.We're there any bugs? No.You're probably not in Ignace for a romantic vacation, so the place will do for the price. Not sure if any other motels would be much better, or if specific rooms are better. Enjoy!
