Seaside K9 Training

Jessica was fantastic in equipping us with training skills that were easy to understand and fun for us and our puppy. She really took the time to get to know us and personalize the areas of training that we needed with our puppy. We really enjoyed working with Jessica!

Jess is incredible. We have an almost 6 year old boxer who (up until now) ran the roost. Lunged at other dogs on walks, and nervous with new people (barking/growling) which came across as aggressive to almost everyone, until they got to know him and vice versa. His terms, not our own. His behaviour was mortifying at times. I have MS in addition to pretty significant leg/hip and sight issues and as a result walk my very large dog with my cane. I was quite nervous walking him when other people or animals could be around and figured it was only a matter of time before someone got hurt. We started to live our lives around when he would be most comfortable. The minute we met Jess, she put it all into perspective. Despite the years of everything we could think of to control his behaviour, including medication, she taught us and Cooper and corrected the behaviour in us all as a family. It’s not hard to recognize talent when you see it. Jess is so good and so committed to her craft and her clients, you will not be disappointed. We couldn’t be more grateful for all her help. Don’t hesitate to reach out to her. We would (and will) recommend her to everyone and any one looking for help. Jessica teaches in a very clear and informative way. She was very patient while teaching me and my pup who has a lot of trouble staying engaged when learning a new command, Jessica can really tune into to how a dog is feeling which is important to me as dog owner so my dog does not get overwhelmed or shut down while they are trying to learn a new task. By the end of our session not only did I have a dog who was ready to learn but my confidence as his handler grew!
