Always accommodating. I received service from someone I absolutely have never met before. I think Andy? Anyways he did a great job! My hair is growing out so nicely.

This salon has alot of very skilled and caring stylist. The manager was very accommodating and came out to say hi. Was helped to purchase the right hair care product for my young girl. She is super satisfied with her new hair care products and happy with her new style. 8 inches of hair gone but it is not missed as the stylist did an amazing job!

Book a last minute service for a hair cut. Instantly on the phone I had a rude welcoming. But I needed a hair cut and it was the only place I could get in at the time, so I went. Still came in and the girls didn’t come off welcoming at all. Sounded just as on the phone.I got a hair cut, by an older lady.My hair is to my waist and I only wanted a trim , she told me we had to cut a certain amount off which looked to be about 2 inches, I was fine with that. I told her I wanted some long layers and forsure not short (as my hair is extremely curly and it doesn’t work well when natural) she gave my attitude and said “well your hair is so long we can’t do that anyways” I told her if I can I would love to keep most of my length, and she said okay. She made some very short layers and I could tell immediately she was going to have to shorten my hair to blend it together, just by what she said.My hair is now just to my chest below my collar bone. That is not 2 inches taken off from where my hair was at my waist. And definitely did everything I said not to and gave short layers.I can’t now out my hair up. Or back at all properly, and I’m constantly having to push it behind my ears (even then it doesn’t stay out of my face)Won’t be going back at all. Very disappointed. I thought maybe I would give the cut a try before commenting a review, but I’m so un satisfied with my hair now.

Alvina is the best hairstylist and I was so comfortable with her. I love the haircut. Thank you Alvina, I am your forever client now.

I go to Andy for my cuts. Totally professional and good humored. Always get a great cut . He knows my hair, the shape of my head, everything that a stylist should know. You will never be disappointed.Love my stylist.Helen Stockburn

I'm a customer since 2011. Appointment sometimes required. Prices went up to 25% after Covid Panicmic. I'm content of the work by Andy and also Anthony.

I am a regular at Modern Man, I was referred to Aura by my regular barber as I wanted a specific dye job. I was at Aura being serviced by Gloria. Seemed friendly and rather nice but unfortunately I can't say I am pleased with the service here. I booked an appointment over a month in advance, marked it in my calendar and showed up 15 minutes early for my scheduled time at 3:00pm. A mother and her two small daughters came by mistakenly believing their appointment was during my slot, but it was scheduled for the next day. Gloria squeezed them in and cut and curled the two young girls hair during my slot and paid less attention servicing me. As a result, the dye job didn't turn as favorably as it could have and I was there much longer than needed for one dye application. It should have taken me 1.5 hours, the first dye job was not finished until 6pm. There was no time to apply another layer to lighten it up because I had a flight to catch at 9:15. I told Gloria this and she asked me, why did you book everything today?". My slot was at 3pm and that should have left plenty of time. I wish she had asked me if it was okay to fit those 2 girls during my slot and I would have told her then

Didn't really like my cut, went to work and coworkers complimented, then realized my cut was different and easier to style. Now am happy! Thanks Andy!

Last August I had my hair fixed by their hair stylist. She was very good thats why I booked another appointment which was supposedly today, Dec 21 at 9:30 a.m. Day before I already called to confirm my appointment and the receptionist said all good. I was surprised when I learned from the receptionist today which unfortunately wasn’t able to get her name that my hairstylist is no longer working in their salon. I told her how come I wasn’t informed or they didn’t bother to call me. I even told her that I confirmed my appointment yesterday. She asked me which branch. Obviously I booked it in their salon. She gave me a lot of excuses like saying all the clients have been informed and my reply was I’m also a client.Today, I don’t have a car and I took Uber to get to my appointment only to find out that my hairstylist is no longer working there. The management should teach their receptionists particularly today how to treat their clients. Her customer service is a big no no. She was some kind of rude and not even apologetic. Very disappointing:(
