Excellent ski hill. Sun Host program is fantastic, guides will take you around the mountain at the appropriate level for you. A great learning mountain: beautiful learner area and beginner lifts, and the group lesson ratio for adults is one to three. The group lessons aren't even expensive either! Good chairlifts and excellent signage - better signage than I've seen at any mountain, the bottom of the runs are labelled as well as the tops so you can look up the hill and see what you want to ski next. The roads are well maintained and easy to drive. If you like groomed runs, this is the place for you - the grooming is excellent and the grooming report is clear and up to date. I can't overstate the quality of the groomers. Overall a very fun place to visit and I will be back.

Sun peaks is amazing all year round. In the winter you get some of the best snow in the world, with very reasonable lift lines. In the summer you can ride the bike park and enjoy lots of awesome trails with something for most skill levels. Despite not being able to get here very often it's still one of my favourite mountains.

Sun Peaks is a great ski resort. Lots of terrain and variety. Top notch grooming, great signage at the top of every lift, and rarely a lift line. Our ski club (Longview Ski Club) chose Sun Peaks as our big trip this year, and everyone loved it! We will certainly visit again!

Sun Peaks is up to par with the best resorts in the Alps. It sits at a lower altitude and the terrain is better suited for beginner to intermediate riders, but there are some incredible off-piste, advanced routes. Facilities are great. Almost no queues on the chairlifts and wide. well groomed slopes. The terrain park offers conditions for all level riders and the views from the top are breathtaking.

Best snow on Earth! So I'm told by numerous visitors here from England, the eastern USA, eastern Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.Carve your powder all day, every day. Negligible ice, unlike many resorts in Europe, the USA, and Australia/New Zealand.Huge number and variety of Alpine and Nordic ski runs. 4 peaks, 3 south facing. Offers excellent opportunity for enjoyment by young, by old, by families, by skill level, and by boarders & skiers.Never crowded. Apparently, this resort is able to continue its expansion to more adjacent mountain peaks in order to perpetually control visitor volume without crowding. You also have an opportunity many days to meet and ski with Olympic Alpine champion (and ski school director and ski lodge owner) Nancy Greene Raine. Very cool! See if you're able to actually keep up with a (now) 79-year-old woman - she can absolutely fly even at this age.

We were so impressed with this resort! We came from Seattle for thanksgiving weekend and were blown away by how much was open and skiable! The life lines were short and for the most part the snow was pretty good for this time of the season. The village is incredible! We stayed at a ski in and ski out and loved the convenience of the resort. all the restaurants at the base are easily accessible to pop in and get a bite and a drink and they get right back out to skiing! We will be coming back!

There are several condominium buildings and hotels plus cafes, restaurants, and shops. A walk around the two or three 'streets' was really pleasant, but it only took 15 minutes. The chairlift was a bit pricey, in my opinion, but well worth it for the views and walks among the mountain meadows. If you are quiet, there are chipmonks and marmot to be seen, plus deer. In the summer, it is mostly mountain biking.Overnight RV parking is available, but there are no services or showers.

Sun peaks is a great mountain town with a great vibe due to its layout and architecture. Lots of things to do for all ages and only a 45 minute scenic drive from Kamloops

Best place on Earth to Snowboard. We drive from the US almost every year (and I’ve been coming since I was a kid). The mountain is massive, the runs are wide, there are runs fro every level of skier and snowboarder, and best of all it’s never too crowded. As a snowboarder, I love the little tree run offshoots and there are hundreds of tree runs. The lifts are fast (minus the OG burfield lift), they have great ski school for kids, did I mention how wide the runs are? They don’t call in Sun Peaks for nothing. This place has plenty of blue bird days that make you grateful to be alive.
