Speaking upon this location in particular: 540 John St, Victoria, BC V8T 1T6. Everyone was fairly nice and knew what they were doing. Front desk was EXTREMELY helpful and nice. Had honestly the worst customer service from the manager M****n. Specifically for that reason I'll never recommend this branch to ANYONE. He was fast to take my money but as soon as he took it he actively ignored me for months. I needed a quote from him on other damages beyond the repair he did so I could book in for the next job. He did a sub-par job, and actually cost me more then the competitors I priced out on the job he did do. I chose to go with him specifically because he was kind, I thought he could be my auto body tech for future work and I thought he would at least help me beyond treating me just like a job which he failed to do. Took months of me pestering and calling repetitively in order to get any answers that would take 10 seconds to respond to. Fortunately he showed me who he was before I let him do anymore work. 0 stars if I could. Hands down worst experience I've had with any business ever..Response from owner at time of edit. The team at Boyd’s really go the extra mile. I needed a rear passenger window glass for an older car. They stopped manufacturing new glass so I had to find used. The team at Boyd’s did the leg work and found the glass for me, In Alberta, had it shipped here and installed for less than my insurance deductible. They are first class.

Had an icbc claim after hitting a deer. Peter and his team promptly assessed my vehicle and had the damage fixed. Whole process was transparent. Truck came back much cleaner then how I left it. Would highly recommend, 5 stars!

I was recommended Boyd to get some autobody and glass work completed on my 2004 F150 due to a comprehensive claim. During my first interaction with Boyd, one of the bosses, who I believe was Peter, stayed late and answered my questions about the process for about half an hour in his office (it was my first claim ever) so I could understand better how the claim and repair process worked. He was entirely friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about bodywork and estimating. When I decided to take my truck in, they helped make the rental vehicle situation very easy and efficient from drop-off to pick-up. a few days later, I went to pick up my truck and found that everything was repaired perfectly and they even cleaned out the inside and outside of my truck. The sheet metal repair and paint repair was excellent and they did a clean job replacing the electric rear cab window. I was entirely happy with the whole process and I will be taking my truck back to Boyd next time it needs a repair.

I had a positive experience with this company during my window replacement. They were punctual, arriving on time as scheduled. The installation process was quick and efficient, and the team demonstrated precision in their work. I am satisfied with the end result and would recommend their services.

BEWARE OF THIS AUTOBODY SHOP! Very bad experienced here. If you want SCRATCHES all over your car please come in this shop. THEY DON'T CARE & A LIAR... THEY SAID THEY NEVER USED A BRUSH FOR MY VAN & I SAW IT WHAT THEY ARE USING, IT'S A F**NG BIG BRUSH. I don't know what's in their mind, 3mos old bnew van with a shiny black paint & used big brush to clean my van after fixing the bumper. Even the bumper they fixed have scratches. REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE IT WHAT THEY HAVE DONE IN MY VAN. Even they detailed my Van you can still see all the scratches specially the exterior plastic. NOT ONLY IN EXTERIOR BUT ALSO INTERIOR SCRATCHES!!! They said it's FAIR and & they can't do anything to fix my van.

I have used Boyds many times and their service and quality of their work is excellent. I would recommend them as highly as possible.
