Gananoque Inn & Spa

The inn was very nice. Our room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. However it is not accessible friendly.We went for breakfast and waited for 15 minutes. Three tables came in after us were served first. We had to move tables in order to bet served. They only offer scrambled eggs with there meals. Husband had the eggs I had the pancakes. His came out with no bacon. I asked two different waitress for more coffee. Then husband asked. Never got a refrill so we left. Restaurant needs better organization as other customers also had to ask for service.

The benefit of the hotel is just a location. So, just for one benefit the hotel is quite pricey. The room is clean, but everything is old and dull. At the breakfast, there is no buffet (like in most hotels). There were only 3 servers for the whole hotel during the breakfast time! So, be ready to wait for your breakfast around 1 hour, no less. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here. Disappointed!

This place was absolutely incredible. Everything, from how clean the rooms were, to the friendliness of the staff,(thanks again for the ice!!) made my stay great. And chicken sandwich from Muskie Jake's, was the icing on the cake. it was exactly the vacation I needed! Definitely be booking a room again soon!!

This was a really pleasant stay and the view was gorgeous! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There was a confusion with my booking, and they did their best to resolve the issue and give us a room we were happy with.Thank you for the lovely experience. We hope to be back and miss the beautiful view already!I would recommend booking the water facing rooms. I have attached an image of the view from the room!

My husband and I stayed here last weekend and it's absolutely beautiful. Right by the waterfront with great views. Beautifully maintained in a historic building. Breakfast is included and the service is amazing. Great spot for a romantic weekend getaway.

Beautiful location within walking distance toTown and City Cruises. Room was great, looks like it was newly updated.Breakfast was included, it was okay. The only choice for bread is white. Bacon just okay. Service was great, very friendly staff.The one complaint I have is the prices on the drink menu. My spouse and I ordered a craft beer. The server brought the bill, it was $34.00 included tax for 2 beers.I asked server if he brought us the wrong bill! It was shocking and way too much money! My bad for not asking server the cost, ridiculous. That is the record for the most expensive two -16oz beers that we ever ordered.We were going to eat dinner at hotel, but after feeling ripped off on our drinks,We decided to have dinner in town.

View from waterfront room was nice. Coffee machine in room was dirty and dusty. The complimentary breakfast was extremely disappointing service. The first thing the staff asked is if we were hotel guests or not, then we were ignored for 30 minutes. A couple walked in (not hotel guests) and were served and left before we even received coffee. We won't be returning.

Drove 2 hours from Ottawa to have lunch at their restaurant….. place a bit busy but lots of empty tables, asked for a table they said we can’t take right away we have to wait. did specify how long the wait was, so i asked him politely if they can put a few tables together , because there was plenty of empty tables. They said it’s not the table it’s the staff , they can’t handle it, but he said he will see what they can do. Np !! comes back a few minutes later and suggest that we go to a different restaurant??? ok… i don't think I need to say it but that was poor customer service. Spoke with the front desk, they didn’t seem to care.

Tired, dirty, musty room. Bed and linens seemed clean and fresh. Breakfast, though free, was not one you would pay for if you had the chance: home fried potatoes were grey leftovers, scrambled eggs were dry, French toast was tolerable but the syrup was corn not maple. The whole place needs a few million dollars of updating.Location by the waterfront was pleasant. Old building was nostalgic. Got a decent price in Agoda but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Room was beautiful but dusty, with several bugs under air conditioner, the fridge was not cold, tissue box had one tissue in it, one face cloth had two large holes. Breakfast eggs were not fully cooked and service was slow. Disappointing, we have stayed here several times in the past without issues. Not worth $300 a night
