Spanish River Inn
We were given room 1. Place was unclean, old and rundown. Housekeeping was not through and we found wrappers and trash left over by previous guest in the bathroom. Worst of all there were bedbugs, got itches all night and could not sleep. Avoid

Place needs to be updated and cleaned. The information on websites needs and with hotels.com. Pet fee was nearly half the cost of the room...that was not the cleanest. I suited for a night, but I would recommend looking elsewhere.

The prices we excellent the room was very big it's not the Hilton but work great for me. Located right on the Trans Canada Highway accses was to convenient. Was a good experience for my daughter and I. Would recommend to anyone trying to save a few bucks on there travel's.

They have bed bugs!In response to the reply -You won't find my name because it was not me. It was my husband and his work crew. I have the photos still of the evidence all over the mattress and the golfball sized welts all over my husbands body. He didnt even sleep under the covers because the place looked so grimey. We have a doctors note confirming. So, yes you absolutely had bed bugs!

Its at perfect location.. Right on the Trans Canada Highway... Rooms were clean.. Old style.. We had king with a Jacuzzi... Spanish river has only 700 residents.. So do not expect any restaurants.. Their are few small eat places... But everything closes at 5 Pm.. Gentlemen at the reception was very kind person..

Stayed in July. Room was .... a little dank but the price was right. Service was excellent, gentleman at front desk was accommodating and professional. Polite and friendly. He knew I had been camping and let me sleep in a little bit. Didn't wake me up.I would stay again.

We were just married and used this hotel, and we are absolutely blown away, the amazing staff here are so friendly and went above and beyond anything we could have ever expected. They outfitted our room with decorations and a personalized card and also changed the sign outside the building with lights and a message congratulating us on our wedding. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. 100% would recommend and will definitely be using them again.

Dee and Dee were very friendly and welcoming upon my arrival the very cold night of February 12, 2022. I stayed in Room 5, which, although is currently dated, was very cosy, warm, clean, and comfortable. They explained that they were fairly new owners who were busy renovating and updating the units, as well as the restaurant area. I believe this inn will look amazing once they have completed their renos. I would stay there again. I wish Dee and Steve all the very best for this year! Eileen H.

Don't look past the reviews. New owners so maybe it'll get better, but... the beds are probably from the 70s, it's sketchy out back, seems to be people squatting in the room at the end. Couldn't sleep because I felt itchy, but that's probably just because I read the reviews AFTER I checked in.The new owners seem really friendly, which makes it hard to write this review, but I think they're trying to turn it around. Hopefully it works out for them.
