Paula and her team were wonderful with Gus!We have an 18-month old Newfoundland pup, who hates baths and having his feet touched. This was only his second time being groomed, and his first time with Paula. I was nervous for Gus, but Paula put me at ease. She approached the appointment with kindness and practicality. She said we would take the groom one step at a time, allowing Gus to get used to his spa appointments. Gus is a big boy (over 100 lbs), but Paula and her team were able to handle his protests while remaining professional and kind. He left his appointment happy, less hairy, and smelling great!I will absolutely continue to bring Gus to see Paula. I trust that he will be safe and treated well when at By the Pond Pet Spa.

As a new client with a 100lb bernese; Paula and her team are really taking their time and making sure my dog feels comfortable and happy. They have given me alot of great advice on how to make the overall experience better for him which I haven't gotten from other groomers. He always looks handsome coming home and smells great! I highly recommend and I love her cage free space!

I cannot say enough good things about Paula and her team. She is the first groomer to actually listen to my wants and give me the cut I ask for. I have a bernedoodle and it was impossible to find a groomer that wouldn’t just shave him naked and give him a poodle look. I also have a very reactive cockapoo who requires an immense amount of time a patience. She is understanding to his needs and works with me so as to not create negative experiences with him. I am beyond grateful for the whole team and will never be using any other grooming service!

A fabulous experience! As a new client Paula took the time beforehand to learn about Charlie as well to share their process. Very knowledgeable and informative.Charlie was groomed perfectly! He looks great, smells wonderful! His peeps are so happy! Definitely booking follow up appts!!

We love bringing our senior dog to By The Pond Pet Spa. Our dog suffers from arthritis and can be a bit of a grouch due to this. Paula and her team give him the most TLC, are super patient and gentle with him, and are highly attentive to his needs and body language. I highly recommend By The Pond Pet Spa for any pet owner out there who’s looking for a quality and compassionate grooming experience for their fur baby.

Paula is fantastic ! she’s friendly and easy to communicate with. She is the only person I trust to groom my boy. She’s patient with him and he’s never in a crate while waiting to get picked up , she lets him roam around the facilities. He always smells and looks and feels amazing, i have never been disappointed with her work. I Would highly recommend her.

I was referred to Paula and By the Pond Pet Spa to get my doodle (Lola) groomed. The facility is top notch as you can see when you check out her website and Facebook page. I had never seen the harness sling before and read up on it before making my appointment. It really did make it easier to trim the nails and Lola seemed to relax in the sling once she got used to it.What I found really wonderful was how Paula took the time to allow Lola to get comfortable with the space and equipment before getting started and throughout the process. She quickly picked up (without my prompting) that Lola likes lots of touch and physical reassurance - so that's what she did throughout the bathing and grooming experience which I could see put Lola at ease. Paula was very good at explaining about her routine and the equipment and supplies she uses. She was thorough in noting what I liked or would like differently for next time which she then keeps on record. I could not have asked for a better experience for both Lola and myself. Lola came out stress-free and as others have noted - incredibly soft! You won't regret taking your pet here.

First time getting my boy groomed. Paula and her little team were amazing. They treated him with love and care from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Spa is clean and well looked after. Highly recommend Paula for grooming. 5 stars for sure.

I brought my 2 little senior dogs to By the Pond Pet Spa to be groomed. Paula did an amazing job! . My dogs certainly got very special treatment. ❤️They smell and look great.Paula has a genuine love for dogs and it is obvious by her caring nature. Paula takes extra time with dog owners to be sure your dog is groomed just how you like. I've have been to many groomers over the years and by far this is the best place to have your dogs groomed. The spa is extremely clean and very spacious. Paula has a natural way with dogs so they are not stressed and their grooming experience is a positive one. I highly recommend By the Pond Pet Spa, you won't be disappointed.
