The atmosphere is honestly a bit dim but the food is so delicious and so are the beers. If you want to indulge in heavy beers and heavy food this is the spot in Thunder Bay.

This is obviously the place to be!! We got the last table on a Saturday night, it was so busy!! We only stopped in for a drink but will definitely be back for food.Service was great, atmosphere was awesome.Can’t wait to try some of their delicious looking food!

Pleasantly surprised that the apple smoked wings with blue cheese dip was so delicious! Then the chicken burger with kimchi and home cut fries were out of this world. My Dad loved the fig and rocket pizza. Service snd cost was great too.

The food was so good! Im glad there was such a variety of items on the menu that we didn’t fuss about finding something suitable for everyone. The cauliflower with coconut ranch dip was amazing, as well as the brussel sprouts! Im looking forward to trying out the fall menu!

Had dinner there; At $20 for a burger + fries, it can be a bit pricey. Service was great, and enjoyed the atmosphere on a nice summer evening.

The Sovereign is a great local business in the Davenport and dufferin area. They have these fresh blueberry scones daily that taste great, especially with their coffee made by their baristas such as Iliana. She’s always got a smile and making everyone at the door smile. Gianfranco and Rossario in the kitchen make great pizzas, the crust is nice and crunchy with a great balance of sauce and cheese, and is always fresh. Check them out they’re a great local business in the area!

Server was nice, the cider good. The burger left something to be desired. The onion rings were way over cooked (burnt), the bun dry, the taste of the meat was okay. Heard the wings are good so if i go back I'll have those.________________________________________________________________________Went back again and had the weekend special pasta - baked Mac & Cheese with bacon. It was delicious.

The now-defunct Where to Eat in Canada recommended the Sovereign Room and with good reason. We shared the cauliflower bites which were fried in the most delicious zesty, lemony coating paired with a lovely dipping sauce as well as the insanely indulgent duck confit poutine which currently shared top spot for not luxurious and rich poutine I've had with a camembert poutine I once had. The duck is generous and the gravy is deeply flavoured. The fries themselves are mind-blowingly good. To finish of this rich meal, I recommend the Dante's Peak cocktail, it is such a creative cocktails, so light and refreshing, but also causes the same effect as a grappa of cutting through the full-bellied feeling. The service was also incredibly kind, rapid, and thorough. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Great beer selection here with an unique menu that changes all the time. I ordered the roasted duck which comes sliced on a bed of wild rice and shaved Brussel sprouts with if I remember right pomegranate reduction. I really enjoyed the addition of wild rice and Brussel sprouts went well with the duck. I wish the duck was a little more rare, just my preference, but was still juicy and tasted good.

Chicken and Waffle Tuesday? Gawddddd damn! Delicious. Drinks are plentiful with a great music selection and atmosphere! Pizzas are amazingly good. Marie is awesome. Come check out the atmosphere and watch an old vhs movie on the big screen!
