Today I tried their waxing services.Aspara was lovely and professional. She made feel comfortable and explained after care to me. As always, I was super happy with the turn out. My nails look cool, its a great location and staff is always super friendly!

I have mixed reviews for this place. Staff were friendly and helpful (I.e. they provided refreshments and warming pads while I got my nails done). However the location is missing some basics, such as a place to hang coats or leave messy winter boots.The biggest negative is that I got my manicure done on Saturday morning and within less than 48 hours one of my nails has already chipped. That was Disappointing.

My favourite beauty bar in Toronto. There is such a nice vibe about this place and all the estheticians that I met were very good at what they do! The manager is also very nice and generous! Wouldn’t get my beauty services done at any other place other than the ten spot :) they’ll always make you feel like a 10! ❤️

I have been to this place before and have gotten better service . I was very disappointed this time ! There seemed to be a lack of attentiveness and staff. Although I booked for a manicure and shellac , they did not do my manicure and only did nail polish change and nail shaping due to time constraints. At the end I wasn’t happy with my nails, as the work done on them did not look the way I wanted ! The person who did my nails seemed to be under training.

Had an amazing first time experience here. The lady working at the front desk was super friendly and offered me tea while I waited for my appointment. My service was great as well. Can’t wait to come back and make this my regular spot!

I went here for a mani pedi and upperlip. This place overcharges you and though their nail service is okay, do not do your upper lip/ any hair removal at this place at ANY COST. I ended up having a first degree burn on my lip due to the aggressive and nervous technician that did my service. The worst part is I knew it was going to scar from the burn I was feeling at the salon but I have never ever expected a first degree burn as such. I would not come back because the salon showed 0 concern until I threatened with legal action. Oh not to mention the service costs the price of an arm and a leg, which I am willing to pay for a positive experience but this was the worst outcome. I had to treat my burn with burn balm over the course of a week, it was bad.

Wouldn't recommend this place ever.It's 2023 and the manager should know this already but:1. When you value money over customer service, you lose EVEN MORE money2. Cost of retaining a current customer is a lot lesser and cost of acquiring a new one.3. Maybe focus on how much money you can make long-term from a loyal customer v/s trying to save pennies short-term.Will be taking my business elsewhere. Hope it was worth it

Edit: was coming here regularly every month for reliable manicures and waxing with the monthly subscription.removing a star as I had booked a wax appointment a few weeks out for my one free evening before a lot of business and leisure travel.The day before they cancelled my appointment and left a voicemail and email to reschedule for times/dates I was not available and I hadn’t seen the messages as I was very busy prepping for work. I confirmed via SMS the appointment and got a confirmation text back so I showed up for my appointment to be told they canceled and there was no backup esthetician. Very negative experience and am looking to freeze my subscription. Had to call around in a scramble and book in another city where I’m going for business.Please be very wary and consider they might cancel or try to rebook you last minute and not honor long-standing appointment nor loyal customers

I didn’t realize til I looked in my own mirror in better light that she has taken too much off the tail of my left and the right one was left much thicker than the left. The light in the room didn’t make it very easy to see and my eyebrows are blonde. I didn’t go back as I didn’t have any time to do so. And I didn’t want any further damage done. The wax was too cold at first and I would have preferred waiting for the right temperature rather than begin. Even if it was first appointment of the day the equipment should have been ready. I didn’t realize that it would tear at my skin and leave red bumps. No use of Accutane or retinol so that’s not a reason. Going back to Benefit Brow Bar for all future services.
