Went for whale watching and spent 2.5 hours on the boat, didn’t see any whale. Asked and was told 2 out of three don’t see whales those days. This means very small chance we can see the whale and just waste time and money.

Worth the price. Prompt service, great views of the Perce rock and some wildlife (birds and seals). Don't forget to bring your binoculars. The upper deck is the best place to be, so be sure to find your place in the line as early as possible.

Oh well, Sepaq annual ticket does NOT include the cruise service. That being said, you have to pay an EXTRA C$45 in addition to the entrance fee of the park. Ironically wise collusion isn't it?The madam at the ticket booth was apparently upset when we decided not to pay for her monopolistic service. You should better train your staff. Of course you won't because of your monopoly.Quel bon avanture.

I don't know what people are complaining about, the boat trip to the island was definitely the highlight of our trip to Gaspé. The trip takes about 50 minutes from L'Anse-à-Beaufils, not from Percé, as the pier in Percé is undergoing a construction. The boat takes a short trip around the island, which itself gives a magnificent view of the gannet colony from afar and you also get to see seals resting on the rocks. You also get to enjoy a 2-3 hour hike on the island, which is another highlight of the trip. Both the trips to and from the island were amazing, although the wind can get a bit chilly. Oh and yes, there was lots of space between people and with the ocean wind, I would feel much safer than some restaurants where people may be far apart from each other, but higher risk with the enclosed space.Overall, I would definitely recommend this boat trip. 5/5

Asked for a whale tour.....got a ride to an island where I had to hike to see birds......NOT A SINGLE WHALE IN SIGHT. Specifically asked for a whale tour....got birds...and rocks. Not sure how the person selling the tickets confused the two.

Great experience for the price! We took a boat ride to the Perce Rock and Bonaventure island. We saw seals, lots of sea birds, and whales! Guides on the boat and on the island spoke both French and English and were friendly. The lady at the ticket booth was very helpful and kind. I absolutely recommend this boat tour!

We took the boat tour around the Rocher Percé and Bonaventure Island, and disembarked on the island itself at the end of the ride. Overall, it was a smooth ride and the crew were nice.A few things I appreciated: tThe boat crew are prepared for folks potentially getting seasick - they've got bags and paper towels ready to go, should you need them. Thankfully for me, I was only nauseous but this lasted most of the ride so I appreciated it when one of the crew members offered me a bottle of water to help settle my stomach (thanks!).On a more interesting note, I also appreciated that the captain stopped the boat on the way back to the quai so that people could take photos of the rock from the best vantage point possible.It was also nice to have a member of SEPAQ on board to talk about the different types of birds etc. as we made our way around the island.Do take note that the entrance fee to the park is NOT included in the price. You can purchase it online ahead of time but I suggest you do so on the day you will be taking the boat to make sure you actually use it. I'd bought mine a few days in advance and the island ended up being closed because of the weather. The fee isn't refundable. I also read that you can physically buy tickets at La Neigère but I'm not 100% certain if that is the case.

I just learned you can buy tickets from any ticket booth and they all board the same boats. They all takes you to a boat tour around the island to see the gunnets.

Fantastic and informative tour
