I live two blocks away from here and this is normally a turnaround spot for me on my regular walks along the KVR. I love seeing this landmark.

It is only the one tunnel or I would have rated it higher. Children love the echo in it. It isn't a must do but we enjoyed the walk.

Great short walk. Warning, You can't directly drive here. Try driving to the Princeton Public Dog Park, Park there, and then walk along the Canadian Trial to the tunnel.

Cool old tunnel that was part of the Kettle Valley railroad. You can drive or walk through!

Came prepared with flashlights, but the tunnel is lit, the ground paved and even. Take the River Road to get you to the small parking lot just outside the tunnel entrance. There are no public amenities here.

Free, of course. Has a lot of graffiti, some of which is inappropriate for certain age groups, so use your discretion if you have a young child who is able to read. Can be rather dark, so again, if you have children it might be a good idea to bring a flashlight if you think they'll be scared.Overall, as a person who came here without any youngsters, this was a super nice walk and a very unique experience! I especially liked the bridge that was on the other side of the tunnel, as I saw a lot of close by deer while standing on it (that's what this terrible picture is of, haha)
