CIBC Branch (Cash at ATM only)

All i wanted was a credit card. I got one in 2015 and they said for a credit card, a chequing account is mandatory. I opened one and never used it. It automatically got closed. I downgraded my credit card in 2016, and they wanted to open another chequing account and told me it was free for 1 year. I told them i already had one in 2015 and it got closed. They said it does not matter and since i am new to the country, my new immigrant package will still work. I opened the account and started using it and they started to deduct 15$ a month for using this account. When asked, they procrastinated that the issue is in the headoffice and they have no clue what is happening. They also BLAMED me i did not inform them of the previous years account. There is no way i can prove this. Also its surprising that they missed my account history. How convenient. The attendant who took my issue promised me she will call me and will inform me about the issue. She never did. I went into the bank and closed the account for peace of mind. Very bad customer service. Lost 15$ per month for the next 3-4 months. No reimbursement. Frustrated with the bank and the members i dealt with. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT HERE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !

Great service. Great help. Espacially Dhyeya is one of the best bank representatives I have worked with so far. Very knowledgeable and patient.

No staff only machines. What a terrible non customer service branch.Done...

Lousy. No cash. No humans. Whether you go directly in person, attempt to contact via phone, text, or computer, you will not get a human, which is BY DEFINITION dehumanizing. Awful business model that puts the customer last.

I am very much Thankful to this branch. Because literally I am delighted about their kind support, friendliness, clear explanation and very helpful. I would always wanted to go to this branch and I would recommend family as well. Refused to open a trust account in accordance with the Law Society Rules and Act. Wasted over an hour for no reason...they don't seem to know much about what they are doing. Would not recommend. Went to TD instead.

I used to come here weekly to deposit money into my accounts but since they implemented the teller machines to deposit money I stop going here and other CIBCs with the same situations.The first and only time I ever used an ATM at the branch to deposit money into my account, it displayed an error message and some of my money got stuck in the machine. I was then told to wait from that friday night to wait till Wednesday for the money that got stuck to be processed. In short I used the new machines and it jammed

Really bad customer service!! I started doing business with CIBC they were really nice and offered to not charge me service fees and gave me any product I wanted. They set up expectations. This year, I guess business is FAR too good for Manager Amy and her staff at Fredrick Street Mall CIBC, because they won't wave the yearly service charges they have FOR MANY YEARS in the past on my chequing account. No problem, BMO looked the Online Banking after I logged into it at the bank and they offered to give me FREE Chequing Account if I bring over only my investments! I discourage anyone from doing business with CIBC but I totally recommend people NEVER use this CIBC at Fredrick Street Mall.
