By far the worst banking experience-- The entire staff is incompetent. Our HSBC premier account manager left the branch, and his replacement comes in only 1 day a week (maybe, as the rest of the team is unsure what their working hours are).The account manager's assistant takes 3 hour lunches, as we were told the assistant is on lunch

Worst banking experience I've had in a long time. I went to this location to open an account with two pieces of ID (DL and passport) that the teller confirmed was sufficient. Went in to see the Cantonese lady mentioned in other reviews and she insisted that I also provide my SIN and wouldn't give a reason as to why my other ID wasn't enough (??????). Then she asked me a bunch of irrelevant personal questions like my spouse's place of employment and his income. I'm not even married! And even if I was, questions like these aren't pertinent to the reason for my visit. Needless to say, this was the most unprofessional banking experience I've ever had. The entire process took almost two hours when it could've been done in half an hour.

Went back again today and dealing with Kelly. Super friendly, professional and efficient.See below for previous resultHSBC is probably one of the worst bank I ever dealt with. Horrible procedures and policies, etc. Don't even want to get in there, otherwise, I am going to writer a 5 pages essay about how bad HSBC is.However, they do have excellent staff in this location, which is the reason I gave a 5 stars review today. Karie and Esther were the staff that I've been dealing with in the past. They are professional, efficient and ALWAYS help you out with a smily. (you can still see that with their Mask on)Dear HSBC - your front line staff is your only blessing - please treat them well!Thank you for working during COVID!!!!

I’d give no star if I could. This is the worst HSBC I know. Very bad experience. I have been standing in line for 30min seeing the staffs having issues with the customers and fixing problem with the printer, and I couldn’t wait any longer and left the place without getting anything done. Customers were being pushed between staffs like a bouncing ball. I saw a woman ended up being asked to sit and forgotten. To be honest, I have enough of being treated like a beggar here. I have lost faith in HSBC in GTA and decided to cancel my account.

I have opened checking account at retail branch couple years ago, and went to branch 2 more times to follow up with cheque books but never mailed to my house. Terrible services ! I was a HSBC staff for few Months and it was the most horrible experience, people will be segregated if you are not belonged to “their” group of people

Great caring service by Vicky, and a younger staff Miss Chen. Got our questions with HSBC Hong Kong account resolved. Much better service then a few years ago at the old Market Village mall.More energetic staff, heard run by a new branch manager, good improvement.

This was one of the worst experiences I've had opening up an account.They person I had a meeting with tole me he was running late and wanted us to wait 30 mins.We told him we couldn't wait and he set us up with someone else.That person took a whole 2 hours to open 1 chequing account and keep telling us that it was because the computer is taking long.Then when it was all done she came and asked us to sign papers to close an account that she had make by mistake.Worst bank experience

The bank manager was actually an nice gentleman, but the supervisor Bamson and an other old Cantonese lady are just headache to deal with. Do not do any business with them. Full of lies. Asked me to give paper proof of where my money is coming from for no reason. However can not provide me any documentation that shows bank requires it. They just create their own policy. We live close by sometimes I deposit money at the counter that old Cantonese lady would even give me hard time for depositing folded money. What a ridiculous teller and poorly customer services.

The branch does not even deserve this one star. The lady had no idea what she was doing; asked me to sign a document that took her over 40 mins to prepare one and a half page which she didn't even updates. Asking a doc to be signed without explaining anything.
