Accidental Beach
What a lovely little surprise I was biking downtown this afternoon and realized how hot it was +30 today and seeing people playing on the speech and throwing a football so I dove in the water and it was so refreshing! One thing I love about this place is that it’s dog friendly so I will be definitely taking my dog down there for an afternoon!

A little section is still left now, most are now under the water. The sand is fine and the water is surprisingly clean and clear. A nice place to swim in.

Right off the get go this place has no signs from the main road. Once you find the one way street parking is limited. No signs to get to the actual beach area. There is a steep ish hill to get to the beach (ropes in place to help ascend/descend). I would say a cool place to bring your furry friends and get some sun but nothing else. Not even porta-potties and definitely no swimming. The noise from the bridge construction isn’t terrible but it isn’t quiet either.Honesty it’s pretty bad imo.

Nice accident, hope we can keep it and add some simple facilities to it. Better than the useless things they are doing downtown. 4 star because I love it but the city should put a portable facility there for people to use.

It changes like every week or so but it is nice and relaxing and in the City! Last month it had a flowing stream in the sand which was great for little kids. Just getting down and up is the hard part because it is super steep the ground to get there but short too

It was beautiful out there which is also a wonderful for taking photos. Unfortunately, i came there alone so i didn't take any portrait photos. I'm absolutely going to come back someday soon. I would recommend you to ride a bus to get there as there is no parking lot, and the spots on the street are filled up quickly. Enjoy it !!

Edmonton sucks in building a accessible places to the public. The beach became a touristic place but nobody thought of improving accessibility. Don't come with strollers or wagon or people with small disabilities. It's impossible to make it there without climbing on mud.

This is a really wonderful place with family or friendsYou can go eat and drink something here or just go and have a great timeYou can choose stones or sand since this place has two sections divided personally I have visited it many and times and I will continue to do so without a doubt
