Neck of the Woods Massage & Wellness

New to the area and did a bit of research, deciding to try NOTW for some highlights and a cut. Booked with Jenna, who was very friendly and knowledgeable - her colour suggestion was perfect and I really liked the caramel partial blonding we ended up doing! My hair looked great down when I walked out (though we were originally worried it might be a bit too light - she offered that I test it out for a week and reach out if an adjustment was needed).I ended up liking the colour, but did notice when my hair was up that there were areas where the blonde didn't blend as well, and I wanted it to look more natural. I contacted Jenna and shared a photo of how the blonde looked when up, and she booked me in to come back in and adjust it. Between she and Connie, they decided to add in some baby lights" in the front to help blend/balance the lighter chunks for more of the look that I wanted

When you have a great experience you have to share ! I've been seeing Jenn C. for the past several months for pain & limited mobility in my neck. On the first appointment Jenn listened carefully to my current issue and past medical history asking questions that would help her to determine the best treatment. She communicated with me during the session making sure that the pressure was fine and that she was working in the problem areas. I felt immediate relief after the first session. I always feel comfortable during my treatment and I find Jenn to be a caring professional at all times. I highly recommend Jenn and the Neck of the Woods to anyone looking for a therapeutic massage.

Alyssa was absolutely wonderful! Went in with super tight IT bands and she was a miracle worker!!!! I can’t wait for my next appt with her!!

I get both massages and my hair done here and I love both of the girls! Connie is so knowledgeable and talented when it comes to getting you to your hair goals! And Carly is the best RMT I’ve ever had!

Jennifer is amazing and penetrates deeply to release tight knots in muscles. Great bedside manners and customer service all around. Highly recommend.

This is a very professional and great place to get a registered massage. Alyssa is an amazing therapist and really makes the effort to help her clients feel great! They direct bill insurance as well.

I highly recommend this clinic! I’ve been seeing Jenn for the last few months and she has helped me so much with my chronic back pain. She is always very professional, knowledgeable, empathetic, and thorough. I’m so grateful for everything she has done for my health!

I had a very disappointing massage with (I think) Jennifer, yesterday, she never introduced herself, but I saw her certificates on the wall. As a former Massage therapist myself, I was surprised that there was no assesment/ health history done on my first visit. After contacting a lot of therapists in the area, I went in to Neck Of The Woods because they had the first available appointment and I had high hopes of alleviating some of my pain. I told Jenifer-not because she asked-that I had severe sciatic pain and mild neck pain and I'd like the focus to be on my sciatic pain. I don't feel as though either of my concerns were focused on but rather, that she just performed her regular back massage 'routine'. She massaged the general area where my sciatic pain MIGHT have been coming from but never isolated specific muscles, like my piriformis, and didn't stay on any trigger points long enough to release them. I'm not writing this review to be harsh, but to warn that if you have a specific concern I don't think that this massage therapist can help. She might do well if you are looking to relax. The atmosphere was great. I just personally did not feel satisfied with what I was paying for.
