25 dollars exactly for a full bucket, definitely worth it (they take either CA or US money, but only cash since there is no service over there). They have all the tools and protection equipment, but maybe bring with you your own bucket or bag to transfer your findings since you only get to borrow the stuff there!

Friendly people! Family run business and the fun attitude shows. No entry fee and extremely decent prices on your finds!They provide buckets and garden spades, offer washing stations to clean your amethyst and bins for the ones you choose to leave behind. Rock hammers are available for rent (a small fee) as are safety glasses if you decide to start hammering away!Gift store on site as well with some beautiful pieces and refreshments.A highlight in my visit to the area.

We had a great hour picking through a rock pile looking for purple colors. We brought a hammer and this made it so much easier.Also for those that have trailers. We brought our 36’ 5th wheel up here with no issues. It is a dirt road but is well maintained. They do have a turn loop area and parking for us with trailers.It is free to pick but you will have to pay for what you take home.

I am speechless))) You come to a small house-shop in the middle of the forest and ... semi-precious stones are scattered around this house - amethyst. You take a bucket, a shovel and go to the place where you dig your own treasure. All this for a small fee. If you are too lazy to dig and wash stones, you can buy ready samples of stones and jewelry. Cool!

Great attraction for the whole family. You can dig and find your own amethyst stones. Whole bucket of stones is 30$ but you can always buy less than that. We got half a bucket and payed 10bucks for it. Kids really enjoyed it. Little advice: bring a hatcher or a hammer to break stones in parts.

Very nice staff. Felt very welcomed into the mine. Gorgeous gift shop also. They even let us bring our 2 dogs along the Mines with us! Very fun time for kids and for adults alike! Very happy with this experience and would recommend for anyone to stop in if they are passing through (it's free admission!) Just pay $30 for a large pale full of rocks, $15 for half, etc. I paid $5 for 3 nice sized amethyst, so I would suggest paying the pale price, because it's way worth it for the amount you can get!

This is a nice place to prospect for amethyst. Although it is located several kilometres from Highway 17 the road is wide and relatively smooth. There are lots of sites to pick through rocks for your finds. A pail of rocks cost $30 and there are larger pieces available for purchase in the area of the rock shop.A great experience.

First time visit on an impulse. Wish we had more time to actually spend walking and looking for amethysts but it was great and the store is well stocked if you don't want to Amethyst hunt for yourself.

Staff was friendly and very accomadating. Free admission and we were able to bring our dogs. Found some wonderful specimens. $25 for a bucket full of whatever you find.

I visited here s couple of years ago. Comparing to that time, open digging area got extremely small now,there was a big shovelling construction truck was located. Many area was blocked. So now, it is only limited area.
