Gary's Moving Services

We used Gary's services today to move my Mom from Angus to Barrie. Guys were awesome, very polite and careful with belongings. Did a fast efficient job. No slackers in this group. Thank you Gary for your help and time change to accommodate my Mom and especially your follow up call.

I originally used this company back in May of 2021 and it was awesome service. Today today unfortunately I called to retrieve a copy of my receipt and was greeted with an illiterate receptionist. The company changed ownership in August. I would no longer deal with these people very rude

Quoted me $110.00 per hr, billed me $150.00 per hr, reason l was given is that the company was sold??? My fault?? Also changed me travel time back to shop which was a new charge, confirmed when l received quote that the clock stops when the truck is unloaded, the movers also told me they were going to another move after mine so l know they weren’t going back to the shop, l definitely wouldn’t use this company again, in my opinion any company that doesn’t honour their quoted prices & comes up with new charges is a company that can’t be trusted. CONSUMER BEWARE.

If i could give a 10 star rating that would be what this company deserves!!You will not find a better company..polite and honest..when they quote a price its what it is ..no suprises or hidden extra charges..The derivers are amazing!!..I didnt have alot to move from my parents home..but there was a cple of extra things..They took them on the truck as well..all the furniture was carefully removed ,covered and strapped..Met at my home and they even carried out a cple of dressers that i couldnt remove..They went above and beyond..if you need a quality honest moving company..call this company..you will not be dissapointed..Awesome Movers!!!..thanx again.

We used Gary's as their name was given to us by a Realtor in the area. We found this business to have very poor accounting and operating processes. Their office double billed us by taking a cheque for four months storage, then charged our credit card for the same monthly storage fees. When questioned they argued, indicating that they had no record of payment, but after further investigation into their own records, reluctantly refunded our card. Some pieces of our antique and brand new furniture were badly damaged. We were told that one piece was being sent out for professional repair, but instead, they unsuccesfully tried to repair by themselves. The effort was very poor and shoddy to say the least and is quite obvious when looking at or using the furniture. The driver took responsibility for the damaged couch and recliner chair, but then blamed the owner and the storage facility. He told us that's how the business runs and then said if you call the owner, he will not acknowledge responsibility. If you value your belongings and property, I would not recommend this business to anyone considering moving or storage.

Worst mistake of my life hiring these guys! They charged 4x what they quoted and STILL didn't move everything. We had to rent a truck to move the rest (on moving day and the Friday of a long weekend). They damaged a bunch of walls, broke pictures, ripped a hand railing off of the wall at our new house and one even cut his finger, bled all over my daughter's crib and left it without telling anyone. They had a smoke break every 10 minutes and GARY had the nerve to come and give me grief. I should have told him to unload the truck and leave right then and there. Absolutely AWFUL company. I would never recommend them to anybody.

Thanks so much for Gary and his crew.. A long distance move from Barrie to the Kirkland lake area, never fazed them a bit. Quick, conscientious, caring, careful.. Describes their team. Even when we needed an extra truck, it was supplied effortlessly, and the move carried on. They were punctual polite and saw to our every need to make our move as painless as possible. I cannot rate any higher than a. 5"..otherwise I would have. The moving cost was well under what I expected also. All in all
