Fiesta Mexicana Restaurante & Cantina

The food was decent. The service was sooooo slow and the waitress seemed to forget people were even there. Watched a table get up and leave because they were ignored.

The food is highly over priced for the amount and quality of what you get. We had three meals ordered with only one other table in the restaurant at 4PM. My father's rice was cold, as if they had been taken out of the fridge and put in the microwave for 8 seconds. My salad was not broken up at all. It mainly consisted of three large chunks of iceberg lettuce near the core so they stayed together. My enchiladas were covered in a sauce that tasted extremely spicy, not hot but rather full of spices that just made the sauce grainy and not taste like anything in particular. It was almost if you made powdered beef broth a spread.The server did not have any difficulty understanding what we said, it was a struggle to decipher her English through her Chinese accent, she had a nice smile and was quite pleasant though. Gave me the vibe that she had been working there less that 6 months.The timing of the food was adequate, but as I said rice was cold and it looked hastily prepared. On top of this, the menu says that my mothers meal was to come with sour cream and guacamole. When my mothers dish arrived and she asked for it the waitress claimed that it would be two dollars extra. You have to pay two dollars for a tablespoon of sour cream and guacamole even though on the menu it says it is included and the meal already costs 17 dollars.I would not reccomend this place.

As soon as I walked in I noticed the restaurant was run by Chinese so I had already had red flags. We were immediately served chips and salsa meaning they were cold and tasted stale also in very low quantity. When I asked for more I was told it was $3 more which is ridiculous. No Mexican restaurants ask for more for chips and salsa.Next I ordered a margarita for which they used a slurpee like machine to mix the drink tasted awful.The steak fajita had barely and beef and lots of vegetables. When I asked for some hot sauce again they suggested I would have to pay extra.By the time we were done eating the restaurant was closed. The staff was very eager and anxiously wanted us to leave. The server literally snatched the plates as my co-worker was still eating not once but twice.The decor was run down. The tables and chairs were broken. The food was ok below average but edible.

Had the massive burrito- was absolutely awesome. The flavours were great and the mojito was a flashback to our Mexican vacation. Great ambience and the service was awesome. Would recommend without a doubt if you are looking for great value and awesome taste. People have complained of how long it took, it is worth the wait- they want to deliver a quality product. That takes time. Great job guys we will be back again!

Food was alright. It was dampened by the fact that the server charged me for extras I did not ask for. When I received the bill and asked about it, she tried" to sound understanding

I suppose it depends who is serving and who is cooking but for the people who were there when I went, there is a lot of room for improvement. I went there at around 3pm to order take out. I know it's probably better to call beforehand to get take out but I was in town from Logan Lake and didn't have a phone. But when I arrived there was literally only 2 other customers in the place, just having drinks. I ordered the mole enchiladas and fish tacos and had to sit & wait 35 mins. The mole was good but there wasn't much fish in the tacos at all and it felt overpriced for the amount of food we were given, so it was kind of a bummer. I kinda don't wanna come back here but sadly I think it's the only place in town that offers mole, which I love, so might give it another shot :/

Very bad service. Not authentic by any means. Over cooked cheap ingredients. How could the food network recognize this as a place to eat. I make better tacos from a $10 taco kit at home. And in half the time it took for me to get my food served. Save yourself a 100 to eat here if you have a family of four.

If i could give no stars, I would.My family and I made a reservation to eat here last night. We drove all the way in from Logan Lake to specifically eat there because we have heard good things. When we arrived and walked through the door they were completely scatter brained, given it was valentines day, but there were 3 servers on duty, and one lady who was manning the front???? but was just sitting on her phone the whole time. If you've ever been in there, there is only about 12 tables max. 3 servers is more then enough.We got sat down. got given our menus and our server walked off. fine. There was a couple to our right, and then another table who sat down after us to our left. The table who sat down to our left was asked if they wanted some drinks about 5 minutes after they sat down, while we were still waiting.. about 15 minutes later the table to the left put their order in, meanwhile the people to my right still hadn't ordered (which they were before us) and we Still hadn't gotten our drink order taken. another 5 minutes goes by and the table to our right finally puts their food order in. GREAT! Still no one had come over to our table and asked if we wanted any drinks to start.. The kitchen staff was just standing around not doing much with no orders in, (despite the FULL restaurant) stirring their drinks with their fingers.. So here were are almost a half hour in and both tables beside us had been served and NO ONE had come over to check on us. After a half hour I actually just packed up my family and walked out. No one even noticed...This is completely unacceptable service. I have worked in there service industry for many years so i know some days can get crazy, but this was absolutely not ok. especially since we ended up walking out UN-noticed WITH a reservation. I will NEVER be stepping foot in this place or recommending it to others i know, which is a shame because we have been wanting to go here for a while now. Keep up that service" and door will be closed anytime."

This use to be one of my favorite places to eat. I don't know how many times its changed owners over the years, but its sure gone downhill. I always eat the same thing when I visit, chicken burrito fajita , I had maybe 5 pieces of chicken the size of my thumbnail, and the rest onions and overcooked peppers. It was super greasy which was pretty disgusting. It was so cold in there, the other 7 people as well as myself and husband all had our jackets on. Will definitely not be eating here again. How disappointing.
