Honestly disappointed frequently when coming here. The iced matcha lattes just taste like milk and has never improved. Also I ordered a bagel with cream cheese on the side and the bagel was burnt and they could only offer me a spoon to spread the cream cheese, also no baked goods or scones at 11am. The cashiers are kind so I don’t want to ask for a refund but man I haven’t had a breakfast this bad in a long time.

My apologies for a crazy sounding review I wrote here … I was in a rush writing two reviews at the same time….This coffee house indeed has great coffee and great staff. And excellent service though the place often has few seats available. . But it is cozy and people stay for a long time working on their computers …

The place is nice, the ambiance is very cool and chill. Great spot for studying, good wifi, great late. However, when I went, they had no food, which is a bummer because it was very busy and many people were leaving because of that. Will give this place another chance for sure, days like this happens. Employees were great.

Eclectic little coffee shop which offers inside and outside seating. The location was perfect for us as it was near our hotel.We loved the name and said we would try it before leaving town - we were not disappointed!The staff was fun, interacted with patrons with genuine ease, and were very personable!Our Mocha and Coffee were delish so yummy!If I lived in Ottawa, I’d most definitely become a Happy Goat frequent visitor!!

Let me start by saying that I love Happy Goat coffee. I buy the beans and drink it every day. When out and about I look for a Happy Goat for my coffee.My experience at this location though wasn't great. Coffee was delicious as always, the atmosphere is generally good but I dunno why the music volume is so high, it's a coffee shop, not a club. Wouldn't be a problem but I was sitting to have my coffee and basically left with a headache.The service though, really? As a veteran of the industry I have an extremely high level of empathy, but I also call it as I see it. It wasn't busy, there were no customers ahead of me, and none behind me. It took them about 5minutes to actually say hello and start serving me then another 5minutes to make the double espresso (so quick and simple!). Basically her colleagues kept interrupting her and asking questions and discussing this and that, and she wouldn't multitask. I ordered for here" and it was taking so long

Great variety of speciality coffee available here.I'm glad that Happy Goat Co. is an Ottawa coffee shop. Great coffee, ambience and decently priced which includes great baked goods from Mavericks!Parking is limited and timed but available.

Two visits and two annoying experiences. First time I waited a good 15 minutes for a decaf Americano while orders after mine were completed. I had to go up twice to make sure my order was made. Turns out the person I gave my order to didn’t tell the person who makes the coffee, even though they were only a few feet apart. They bickered about who was at fault while I waited. This week I ordered two iced chai lattes. It was hot chai poured over ice, resulting in a warm chai latte with zero ice. I don’t understand how that’s “iced”. With so many coffee shops to choose from this one will get a hard pass next time I’m on Elgin.

Good coffee but whenever I ask for a cup, they serve me in a paper cup anyway. And don’t bother tipping: there is NO service.I asked for a cup this time and the barista just poured the cortado into a cup. Goodbye foamy milk
