I had to bring my dog Delta in for an emergency appointment. I thought she had broken her tail due to happy tail. I had to get my landlady who watches Delta to bring her in since I work long hours. When I called at 8:00 that morning I told them what would be happening and requested that all information be forwarded to me as I am Delta’s guardian and I am paying for the appointment. They never called me after her appointment at 2:00 so I followed up. I was told they were busy and they would contact me later. It wasn’t till 3:00 that they called me back. I received no information from them whatsoever. The only thing they told me was that they put a bandage on her tail, gave her some antibiotics and sent her home. I tried following up twice more trying to find any information out, but the only thing they were concerned about was payment. They reassured me the vet would contact me in one or two days. I didn’t find anything out until 6:00 that evening from my landlady regarding what was going on. My landlady had told me that it wasn’t a broken tail and that she has a cyst that could possibly be cancerous. The vet didn’t call me back like the receptionist had said. I made a follow-up appointment with Delta’s normal vet where I was told that it’s more than likely scar tissue from her happy tail that she keeps hitting and bleeding, recommending that they dock her tail. Oriole Road was so unprofessional, as Delta’s guardian I should have been told what was going on, the receptionist was not compassionate and was more concerned about the $200 bill than the welfare of Delta and myself. I spent all day stressing about Delta and her tail just to be ignored by the vet clinic. The staff was rude and left me in the dark through the whole process. I will never again take any of my animals to this vet. I’m disgusted by the dishonesty, rudeness, and lack of professionalism.

I had to have my 17:+ year old poodle ‘Licorice ‘ put to sleep on May 17th at 3 o’clock. This was a heart wrenching experience for me and my kids.. Stephanie put us in a private room and explained what/how they would do it. Dr Feona also explains the procedure and was very kind. My only comfort is how peaceful she looked as we said goodbye. I brought Licorice in for a wellness check in November as well and again Dr Fiona was very compassionate and honest. I’m sorry I don’t have strong enough words to thank you all......

The team at Oriole Road Animal Hospital are outstanding, our 7 year old Airedale had something going on with her digestive system, it was the day before Christmas we went to the clinic as an emergency visit, after driving to two other clinics... Dr Andrew was extremely thorough with Bella, he was so good with her. He gave us two options one more conservative route, and second option more detailed... conservative option is the route we chose, with the possibility that we may have to revisit a clinic on Christmas Day... Thank you, for support and care!

This morning unfortunately I had to come in on very short notice to ask for the staff to put my little girl down. She was 15 years old and has been with me almost half my life and this was the first time I ever had to do this and even though it was probably one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. They were so kind and gentle and caring and they treated both of us so well and walked us through everything and were there for everything and explained everything and I cannot be more grateful with the experience. They are truly animal lovers and very genuine people through the front doors all the way to the backend people. I want to thank the whole staff for treating me and my little girl Bugsy so well on such a hard day

I've always had great care at Oriole Rd for my pets and especially this last time with my dog needing surgery. Dr.Andrew Reid and staff were so attentive and understanding to the extra care my dog needed. I will always be thankful for the extra compassion this hospital has for my animals.

Outstanding team of vets and staff! It's clear to me how much everyone at this clinic values the relationship between pets and owners. Really happy with the level of service we've got here, and thankful for such a sympathetic and sensitive staff when it matters most.

Cannot say enough about this place. Kind and caring, smart and professional all our dogs have been patients here and they have all been super happy and cared for for their whole lives. Andrew and Fiona, Denise and the whole staff have made our lives better by going above and beyond over and over for our dogs and us. Would HIGHLY recommend.

We stopped here for an emergency visit on a road trip through BC. This clinic was accommodating and went above and beyond to help our sick dog as much as they could. The entire staff was compassionate and helpful and the vets were fantastic to work with. I called at 9:45AM on a Saturday and they were able to get us a same day appt for the time we would be arriving in town. I can’t say enough good things about this clinic.

This is the animal hospital we stuck with after going to 4 different ones in Kamloops. The service and care provided have always been excellent.We switched after an emergency visit for our cat. We were blown away by the empathy and level of care we received so we decided to switch vets, even though the location isn't the most convenient for us. Unfortunately, the vet that we originally saw no longer works here but the other vets we've seen have all been good so we'll continue coming here. Furthermore, the facilities are always spotless when we come in.The staff are all friendly and accommodating. I also love that the clinic is open on Saturdays, which makes things so much more convenient! Parking is easily found at the lot out front.I honestly can't recommend this clinic enough!

We have been taking our dog Shadow to Oriole Road Animal Hospital since she was a puppy. Their care has been fantastic since day one. They were wonderful with Shadow's recent passing at the age of 12. So kind, and truly caring.
