Sheet Habour, the largest community in the Eastern shore, sweet little place with friendly people. One should stop by the Info Center and walk the trail between the two bridges, you will not regret the 20 min short hike.

Everything was closed but always nice to walk around here..view all the cool stuff they have now added. Beautiful Spot. Relax have a picnic lunch.. enjoy the scenery...

A beautiful place! If you enter in by the museum, there’s a gorgeous, well built boardwalk that goes all along the falls. There’s another entrance by the bridge as well. It’s not a long walk, but incredibly peaceful to hear the sound of the falls. You can walk along the other side, but it appears woodsy, so be prepared.

Really nice place walkways to the falls you can't get too close to the falls unless you're up to a little walking, and there is a art gallery of local artists.

The walk sits behind the visitor information centre and museum. It is an easy boardwalk that leads to some very scenic sights.

The views of the falls from here are excellent. Safe trails with a view, what else can you ask for?! Definitely good for a rest stop and photo op over the falls! Stop in and check out the MacPhee House Museum next door (where there is ample parking!) And the Sheet Harbour Historical Society to learn a little more about the area.

West River Falls Boardwalk
Sheet Harbour is a quaint little town along Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore. Make sure you do the hike at Taylor Head Provincial Park! One of the best in Nova Scotia.
