WOW! What an amazing find! And we loved this place so much after our first visit, we were back within a week. This gem is a bit off the beaten path but worth the drive.First off, their mango lassi is out of this world, so fresh tasting. Everything we ordered was top notch, and the portions are extremely generous.It’s wonderful to see the great family dynamic with dad in the kitchen and the kids are running the front of house. Do yourself a favour and meet this lovely family and enjoy an absolutely amazing Indian dinner.

The best Indian restaurant in the south!!! Went with a few friends back in March and I just really had to put this review out there. My friends and I were struggling to find some really good Indian food and we finally found the perfect place.The taste of each dish were so flavourful and distinct - very authentic and feels like home. Also, the portions were very generous for the price. They also have a mango-chicken curry dish that we were looking for which easily became one of my favourites. On top of that, their garlic butter naan is amazing! You can even feel the texture of the bite through the photos I took.From left to right, we got the lamb karahi, shahi paneer, mango-chicken curry, and garlic butter naan. I also had their coconut mango lassi which was rich and creamy!It's hard to believe that this place hasn't gotten much recognition yet. Their service is excellent and made my experience genuinely enjoyable and very well cared for. If you live far off from the restaurant and craving some really good curry and karahi dishes, it's definitely worth the drive.

Awesome service, excellent prices and unbelievable food. This place has it all. We did the dinner for 2 with some modifications. First we were served water and offered some choices for wine and beer that are not yet listed on their menu. Vegetable pakoras and samosas were a great starter. By far the best pakoras we ever had. Also started with paneer tikka (tandoori) which was delightful, served with a generous portion of pickled onions. For the main, we had the mango chicken and butter paneer with saffron rice and garlic naan. Asked for medium spice levels and it was PERFECT. A decent heat level without blowing your tastebuds off. The mango chicken was recommended and we are so glad we did it. So good!! New fave for sure. The naan was very very good as well. Rice was great although not quite as large of a serving as we are accustomed to. For dessert we had the gulab jamun with ice cream and it was super delightful. Best I’ve ever had. All the food was served at the perfect temperature, the portion sizes were generous and selection awesome. Quality at all levels and best of all, not overpriced. Would love to see a physical drink menu (they only had it online and it’s not updated with their full selections) and can’t wait for the buffet to return. Would also like to see some better dinner lighting in the restaurant and maybe some ice in the water but that’s being nit picky in comparison to the service and tastiness we received. Our waiter Jyoti nailed everything; even small requests were honoured immediately even though the place was busy and she was the only server. Not only will we be back, this is our new neighbourhood go-to! Glad to support a local family owned business.

We ate at Indian Ocean twice during our stay for a lacrosse tournament. Both times the food was awesome! Portion sizes are almost too much but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.Service was great. Loved that the wait staff help you determine what would good things to add to your meal.Price is very reasonableHighly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal

Very creamy and tasty butter chicken and lovely flavoured lamb vindaloo. Thanks for putting more than 2-3 pieces of meat in the dishes:) Naan bread and coconut rice were also very good. Best Indian food we have had in a very long time

Seriously SO good. Our first real Indian food place and while the menu is intimidating, the food will surprise you no matter what. It's delicious and full of flavor. Service was extremely friendly and catering, and great portions.Medium was pretty lightly spicy, but Spicy" was a real jump and definitely for true heat lovers

Excellent dine in or takeout if you’re staying at the Glenmore Inn across the parking lot.Portion sizes above average value for price, and I can’t get enough of their mango curry and garlic naan.Really great local restaurant, definitely worth trying if you’re even a bit curious!

A hidden gem! Have been craving a good butter chicken, and decided to try this out. WOW!! Their food is super delicious and the waiter’s customer service was beyond expectations. I came into the restaurant at 11:45 am and they open at 11:30 am. Waiter was very apologetic as he mentioned the chefs just started when I came in and notified me early that the naan is not available at the moment as they’re currently making it, no problem. So I ordered the veggie samosas instead of the naan, butter chicken and the saffron rice. The waiter gave me a complimentary OJ, probably apologetic about the naan not being available as they just opened. Wasn’t a problem with me, I wanted to be able to just enjoy a good meal and I am patient. To my surprise, when my butter chicken arrived the waiter told me they were able to get the naan prepared and it was also complimentary. Was not expecting that at all, but was super grateful for the service. The food was super delicious, naan was so fresh, butter chicken was the right spice.. The samosas were huge and packed with so much filling. EVERYTHING WAS SO DELICIOUS. The portions were huge so I had to pack most of it home. Not only the food was delicious, their service was spectacular. Will definitely be coming back here many more times.

It's the third time I am dining in here and have tried a variety of dishes. I highly recommend this place and call it hidden gem. Tried Spinach tikki - unique dish/snack that you don't find everywhere and it was really good. The Chicken Tikka was good too. Butter chicken, Goat Curry, Butter Paneer, Yellow Dal Tadka and Egg Plant Bharta were the dishes I tried across my visits here and loved each and every item. Last but not the least the Garlic Naan here is amazing - exactly how I like it (thin with a slight crisp). Reminds me of my home city - Delhi. Its a great place for both Veg and non veg lovers. Will be back soon!Oh, can't rule their service out. Sam does a fantastic job helping all customers with a smile. Go see him next time you're there!
