Staff are kind but their store policies are horrendous, went in for a eye exam a couple months ago and ended up purchasing new glasses from them, the lenses weren't made correctly and the anti reflection coating was applied improperly causing my glasses to reflect objects behind me into my eyes. To their credit they did redo it, however I had to argue with them to not charge me for a manufacturer defect. Skip forwards a few weeks for a small bump causing a scratch on the anti scratch coating, I decide to go back and ask them for a copy of my prescription so I could order a cheaper pair for work elsewhere. Their policy does not allow them to give me my full prescription that I paid for. So unfortunately Im going to go elsewhere for future business. They do not offer any sort of refunds either.

My daughter and I went for our eye exam tonight at Nelms. Fantastic experience, we were treated with respect and made to feel very welcome. The front desk staff, Brian, Kirsten, Christine and Teri have all served us in the past and tonight, as always, were very helpful. We bought two new pair of glasses, the staff helped my daughter pick a beautiful frame, that fit well, and a fantastic case. I have one very happy little girl. Thank you Nelms and we look forward to recieving our new glasses once they are made.

Amazing service and excellent people who work with you. They were able to fit us in at the last minute to get a critical eye exam done, so that my husband could get his A license in time for our holiday. We had no idea he needed glasses that badly, and not only did they fit him in but they got him his glasses in an hour after his appointment. Really great service, lots of things to do while you wait. The Dr, the receptionist, and the service and sales people were all excellent. Thank you so much! We really appreciated you going above and beyond!

Needed lenses popped into an identical set of frames, from an older pair that run their course. I’m the type that buy multiple frames at a time. Nelms replaced the lenses, and nosepieces without question. Easiest repair/replacement ever! Thanks !

I've been going to Nelm's for all my eye care and frames needs for years. They have amazing service and can take care of anything you need. I can also go in any time to get my glasses adjusted. Would highly recommend checking them out for your new frames or eye check ups!

I had a poor customer service experience here. I had to cancel the appointment. Once I cancelled the appointment, they just hung up the phone before I could finish talking because they thought I was not important anymore.They hardly know anything about customer retention and relation. If they behaved properly, I would have taken an appointment very soon, which isn’t going to happen.

Had my worst experience in 20 yrs trying to get RX glasses.Brian mislead me saying that the arms of Oakley" could be bent. I found out from another eye vision store that is false.He also didn't know how to file my form for special circumstances and that delay of 3 months is why I'm going to another optician to have my glasses done."

AVOID AT ALL COST***BUYER BEWARE***Wish I could give negative 5 as rating.The most unfriendly, unpleasant and unprofessional older gentlemen working. I had the displeasure of having an interaction with him, and let me tell you he was the most grumpy fella I ever met.This whole interaction was so off i came to see if any could help me out with my broken glasses, and he was just straight demeaning the entire time. When I asked a simple question, he would take a deep breath, pause amd answer in the most unique and rude way. This guy really sucks, I couldn't help but ask if hes having a bad day, even after that, no change in his condescending behavior. He didnt even offer to look for similar frames/new glasses etc. Worst place to get ANY professional advice. Go literally ANYWHERE ELSE. I'd highly recommend PEARLE VISION , the experience was night and day...all staff were super friendly and they even fixed my glasses! I wrote a wonderfully positive review for them but Nelms Opticians" needed their very own

It’s my favourite place for eyeglasses and sunglasses since I was a kid. The staff are so kind and they helped me learn about how glasses are made. Thank you!
